I spent ages trying to find a silicone remover and eventually found C & A Building Plastics Silicon Remover, although i was sceptical about how well it would work i rang C & A and they assured me it was what i required to remove old silicone from around my bath. So i brought this with some other bits i needed and followed the instructions as directed. After about 3 hours, fingers crossed i removed it and to my surprise it had removed the silicone as well.
The only thing is you need a silicone gun to use it as it comes in a tube just like silicon but only shorter, i was lucky as i already had one from other DIY jobs.
I would definitely recommend this stuff, saves hours or picking and scraping
