I bought my Dell Inspiron mini 10v about 18 months ago in the duty free shop at Manchester Airport. Her who must be Obeyed wasn't best pleased "we're going on holiday to relax not play about on a computer" she said.
Found it to be and absolute dream to use. Yes it is a bit limited, but it's a Note Book. If you want something that's all singing and dancing then it's not the thing to buy.

I have owned a Dell Inspiron Mini 10 for 14 months from new.
The hard drive just failed causing the loss of all data and applications. It was a Samsung SATA drive so not very impressed. Replaced it myself but not exactly simple to install Windows without a CD drive....
The OS in Windows XP which is looking very tired now, plus you can't even upgrade the 1 GB of RAM memory as it's soldered to the motherboard.
Another issue is the low screen resolution of 1024 x 600 rules out running many... (read more)

Great little notebook. Battery last hours, easy to type on once i got used to a smaller keyboard. mouse pad is aannoying and sometimes moves the text line whilst you typing. but thats the only fault. (read more)

I got one of these about 6 months ago, I use it in front of the tv when something comes to mind that I'd like to know about, film reviews, amazon orders etc. Its pretty good, its fast and it turns on in no time, battery life really good, a pretty solid purchase for me. (read more)

I orderd the netbook from the site and paid. I was informed that it would take around 2 weeks for delivery - a long time and I needed something quick, but accepted this. A few days later I got an email saying the delivery time would be longer: altogether it would take 18 days to arrive. I tried to cancel and complain and was told that I cannot cancel the order and complaints do not accept emails or calls; I have to call customer service on a premium rate line....?
