This 'phone (Nokia 6500 Slide) has a pathetically short battery life poor, low capacity music player and frequently does not respond to key presses, I only had it a few weeks before relegating to a drawer and reverting to my 2 year old Samsung, better battery life and equal music player with no other foibles.Unfortunately as I am out of my trial period I cannot return it so will stay in the drawer until I can upgrade. Never again a Nokia!!Before purchase I would have liked to know that battery life quoted by manufacturers is with the phone on standby but with no SIM card therefore not seeking a signal and using power, this is completely misleading as who amongst us uses 'phones without a SIM card?

I bought this Nokia 6600i Slide phone sim free last month. I had not had any problems with this phone, it is excellent. It feels really well made too, not plasticy like other Nokia mobiles. The only down side is that there are not alot of accessories out there for this phone!

It's a well put together phone in a smart stainless steel casing, it feels great and the screen is very good. The 5 mega pixel camera is good but does take a while to process after taking the shot. The main probelms are the screen goes blank after only 10 seconds which is a real pain when reading texts or if you pause while writing a text, this you can't adjust so s ...

Of the same build and pricing, both the yesterday's 6600 flip and the today's 6600 fold are a treat to look at and handle. The differences in gear are minor, boiling down to a fair try to fine-tune the supply. The OLED screen and electromagnetic push ...

The Samsung i560 Review - Another great samsung phone.
Looks great, feels well built, smooth sturdy slide.

At first I thought the GPS didn't work as I would leave it for ages and not find my position. I took it for a drive and it connected after about 10 minutes. Now it finds its position fairly quickly.

The included gps software (Route 66) is reasonable, and on paper would appear to be comparable to tom tom or navman. However it is a little rough around the edges,...
