This Compaq iPAQ 3970 Pocket PC is easy to see even in darkened rooms, all functions are user ajustable, important contacts, calendars, etc. can be stored in non-volital memory and recovered by simple reset if it freezes. My 3970 carries a large amount of info without problems for medical formularies, drug info, and coding databases. No problems, very happy with this unit. I got the Compaq iPAQ 3970 Pocket PC to partner with the Ericsson T39 using Blue Tooth. The supplied apps are excellent. I am not quite used to the Pocket PC transcriber yet but getting better. The tasks are great to have on the move. I tried various telnet programs without success until Pocket TTY which worked straight off.
I'd like to get it on GPRS but the price plan is very expensive.
Nice piece of kit.
