“waste of money”

I used the trimmer once, I was told by the supplier that I had overcharged the battery !!! I now have no Hedge Trimmer and £25.00 worse off, the company that supplied it through Amazon were most unhelpful and couldn't care less once they had taken my money. (read more)

“BATTERY PROBLEM”

BOUGHT AT CHEAP PRICE AND WAS SUPRISED HOW WELL IT CUT AND QUICKLY, LASTING FOR 45MIN OR SO, THEN NEEDING A FEW HOURS CHARGING, SO INITIALLY PLEASED WITH IT. NOW AT JUST OVER A YEAR, PROBABLY ABOUT 8 CUTTING SESSIONS, MAYBE 6 HOURS USE IN THAT PERIOD OF TIME, IT APPEARS THE BATTERY OR MOTOR IS FAILING, TRIED CHARGING UP ON 3-4 OCCASSIONS, TWICE OVERNIGHT, BUT LITTLE POWER OR CUTTING ABILITY. BIT DISSAPOINTING AFTER A YEAR, AND JUST OUT OF GUARANTEE. (read more)

The Challenge hedge trimmer DCHS400 was the cheapest cordless one i could find only £24.99. I was shocked with perfomance, power and cuts very well. The battery still last well after one year. The only problem is that you only get one batery. (read more)

I found this review not helpful because...

<br/>It is entirely contrary to my experience with this product. I cannot believe it is the same item. We charged the battery as instructed, and it cut the hedge briefly, then lost power. We recharged it and used it with even less effect, except the battery got very, very hot.
