When Vincent's opened it gave Sketty a neighbourhood restaurant for the first time and many of us having been returning regularly for some years. It has very friendly and helpful front of house and is excellent value for lunch (£10:£12.50:£15 for 1,2 or 3 courses). Food is affordable gastro. Starters are always interesting - we find their variations on garlic mushrooms really excellent. Fish is of good quality and imaginatively cooked. The standard vegetables are the best we know - yesterday good ratatouille, parsnip mash, carrot, cabbage and broccoli with a generous supply of saute potatoes. Puddings have limited range but are extremely accomplished - bread and butter puddings, and crumbles, are first rate plus many variations on creme brulee.
