Audrey Tautou was the best selection as an actress for this movie. She was cold and dry, just as she had to be for this part. It captured the truth behind the lonely woman, being Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel. If you are looking for a uplifting movie, don't watch this. But if you are a drama lover.. perfect!… Read Full Review

Coco before Chanel is an odd film that could do with some better editing and a sharper script. A very long opening scene depicting the young "Coco" being left at an orphanage seems slightly devoid of any real emotion and leads onto 14 years later where we find her working in a French bar as a singer and dancer.
