This leisure park sits on the edge of the river Wye and is ideal for canoeing parties.
It bills itself as a family camping park due to it's fun fair and arcades.
I booked for 2 nights in August 2009 for 3 adults and 3 young children.
The toilets were code operated so children generally needed assistance in getting in. The showers were generally dirty and too hot, costing £1 for a 3 minute shower.
The on-site bar was very good and the food it served was reasonable value for money.
The BIG down-side was the numerous drunken teenagers leaving the pub at 1.30am and waking us and our children with disgraceful language. This went on until 4am even after being told by me to go home.
Even though we had paid in advance, we packed up and left the next morning.

We went to Symmonds Yat which was lovely. ... Ross on Wye, about ten minutes' drive from the site, is well worth a visit ... 8th - 10th January 2010 Outdoor Leisure Show 2010; Royal Bath & West Showground,
