Great handeling car with great looks. Mine needed a new wiring harness after the previous owner tried to figure out by himself what was wrong. Runs like a champ and has plenty of get up and go for whatever. I will be doing the TT motor swap into my 2+2 for a little bit more fun. The bad news for the car is if you have to continually carrie people around (back seats are great for kids not adults) They are pretty cheap nowadays and you just do the routine tune-ups and it will always reward you with a great driving experiance. You don't need to go fast to enjoy the car either! Just cruise in the low supportive seats and take your time getting to your destination, it gives you more time in the car!

I've had the car since '03, and it still gives me a thrill when driven. No major repairs in almost 16 years - it starts up each time and runs like it did when new.

Great car, realy, every single time, come home with a big ass smile and regret gettin home so dam fast. if your easily tempted to putting your foot down tho i realy wouldnt buy this car as it just wants to run all out all day long. love it, girlfriend seems to think i should swap it out for something small and sensible, i had to respond with donuts in the car park just after her lunch :D guess who got the sofa that night.

I love my Nissan 300ZX, and cause I know people I get my repairs cheaper. They are not as fast as other performance cars cause of their massive weight, but they stick to the road like glue, go hard, and you'll leave anything that isn't at least 2l turbo, or v8 dead.

I would recommend this car to anyone for a generally great car because no matter who you are you will love this car. Fast, reliable, great handling in tight turns at high speeds, looks good, and is an all around great car.

My 84 Nissan 300zx is very reliable even though it has 193,700 miles. Maintain the vehicle with tune ups. The one thing I would like to have known before I purchased the vehicle was that hot air enters through the ventilation system even though the a/c and heater is turned off and the thermostat is on cold. My car leaks oil which is no problem but during long trips I smell burnt oil, it is not fumes, I had the muffler checked. Because of the burnt oil smell and the heat felt, I would not rec ...

I own a 300ZX 2+2 NA since 18. This car still pulls as strong as when the day I got it. When kept and maintained nicely, this car can reach 200,000 miles with no problems. Very reliable sports car of this caliber. Only other sports car that rivals its reliablity is the Toyota Supra, but the Supra also cost a lot more money than the 300ZX.

I recently brought a 1991 2+2 NA, I was tossing up between that and a twin turbo '91 Mitsubishi GTO (3000GT in the states), The GTO was quicker (thanks to the turbos), but there is a lot more room in the 300zx, I don't think i could have gotten insurance at any kind of reasonable price for the GTO and the 300 is a classier looking car. It's a comfortable car to drive, nice over long distances, I do find myself wishing for a turbo occasionally though. These cars are a lot more common in New Zeala ...

Lest forget about handling and performance, the car has both in bucketfulls. What is really important is that you can pick up a respectable example for less than £6k and they are a whole lot scarcer than a 911. As they have been out of production for a while I actually get kids asking me what it is and wanting to look the thing over. It still manages to snap knicker elastic at a fair distance as well (until they find out how much its actually worth of course!). I've had my manual non turbo ...

I have an '88 Nissan 300zx 2+2 and it's fast - i get pushed against the seat when i hit the gas on my 2+2. Like i said in the good points, it has a lot of power. more then the 2+2. if i could afford the insurance on a TT i would of gotten one, but i couldn't so i got the second best thing. It is also very comfortable. They are reliable cars - i asked a couple mechanics and they said they are very reliable. You also get a lot of power for the money. you could get a 91 TT for about 6000 or less. I ...
