The Jigsaw Man by Paul Britton gives a practical look at how clinical psychologists do their jobs. This is not really a book as your general paperback. It may be sold as such with the fancy cover and big bold title, but its actually an academic journal without references and critical evaluation. The author concentrates primarily on success in his career and not on occasions when he was unsuccessful. It may be good for general knowledge to state your failures as well as your success stories. The author goes over the top with violent graphic imagery. There is simply no need to show cruelty to that extent / detail except for Hollywood and show business purposes.

I learned a lot from reading Paul Britton's The Jigsaw Man, and I have recommended it to several friends interested in this field. It is a bit sensationalist, but it was a very interesting read, and accessible to those new to the field.- Read wordy's review (51 words)
