    A very nice bread maker with lots of different programmes and capabilities to allow for the making of all sorts of different types and styles of bread and cakes. It does seem to struggle with wholemeal breads, often producing a very 'heavy' texture to that type of loaf. There is advice in the included recipe book on how to get round this, but the advice is not always successful.     I have considered buying a breadmaker for quite some time. I based my final decision on the fact that I have a Kenwood Chef that is over 30 years old and has never let me down. I am so pleased that I did. I haven't tried all the recipes yet but am delighted with those I have tried. I also realised that the reason I couldn't find any reviews for the BM450 was because it is new. I have had it for four weeks now and have made 20 loaves so far.
