i brought a cath kidston pushchair i received confirmation e mail and the money was taken - 3 days later i checked my status and the item was not dispatched - as no payment was received . I had to take time off work to argue they check only to find that they were wrong the payment had been taken - its a premium rate call and the customer service attitude was whats the problem - i nearly paid twice and they were not in a slightest interested .Still no pushchair just a hole in my bank balance... I ordered a wooden baby high chair which came with a free beige seat cover. I received an e mail from Bambino saying that beige cover was out of stock and would I like pink or blue instead (the email did not say there would be any extra payment). I ordered pink. I have just checked my credit card account and found that the company took £16,97 without my permission. I tried phoning but was left holding the phone on a premium rate call. Bambino direct charged me for next day delivery but didn't pay parcelforce for that service! I waited in all day (Friday) for urgently needed goods and they arrived on the Monday - 3 days late when I refused delivery because I had been out on the Saturday to buy what I needed. Bambino direct then took over 2 weeks to refund my money for goods I never had. I had brought a pushchair from bambino direct in Oct 2012 and at the beginning of jan there was a fault with it. I hadn't had it long so phoned them up to see what could be done. They came and collected it (free of charge) and had to send it to the manufacturers to replace a part it took a few weeks but throughout that time they kept in touch via emessage. I normally buy all of my baby equipment from Kiddicare who are 2nd to none where customer service is concerned. However, I decided to give Bambino Direct a try as I found a pushchair (Red Kite jogger) I wanted that was slightly cheaper (worst mistake I could make!!) We bought a pram from them, a Stokke. It broke, but was covered under warranty. We phoned the manufacturer, Stokke, and they informed us that in this situation Bambino Direct should fix the pram for us. We phoned Bambino Direct, and asked them to fix it. They said that they would usually honour the warranty, but they had been acquired by another company, and therefore would not honour the warranty. Placed an order in April, was still waiting 2 months later. Although i received one email each month with "estimated delivery" dates, this doesnt make up for the wait. I messaged them numerous times because of the delay, to finally be told if you take off 1 item, we can delivery the rest of the order this week. I received a text with a tracker number but no idea where to go to check the progress, making the tracker number useless. Then after chase up, refund promised. A day later White Bjorn sent out to us again. After 10 days I emailed to the response it wont be in until the 18/02 (then dispatched to me). Some of them we did not discover until much later by which time they would not accept a return even though they admitted that there had been a mix up with the supplier.
