This is an amazing piccolo trumpet at a very affordable price. It is well made in silver plate with good monel halves. It comes with 2 leadpipes for B flat and A in a case.
I have played the instrument since February and am thrilled with it. I play a lot of baroque and even play the 2nd Brandenburg concerto with the B flat pipe.
The trumpet is easy to tune. The sound is terrific equivalent to a Yamaha or Schilke. It is shorter than a Schilke P5-4, which must aid pitch.
I bought the trumpet brand new from a German seller on eBay. After paying, I was going to try and get a full refund; this was before I received the piccolo trumpet. The seller sent me an email with an attachment of the graph showing the instruments paralleled superiority compared to a a Selmer trumpet. It was also remarked that, although the instrument was made in China, this was under German factory supervision so quality was assured.
Significantly, the bore on this instrument is the same compared to a larger trumpet, being ML. This is freer blowing. What is great is the way in which the B flat and A pipes are trumpet shank and not cornet.

After paying and before it arrived, I had second thoughts. I was sent a detailed email with graphs illustrating how well the instrument performed compared to a new Selmer piccolo trumpet. The email described how the Stagg representative was very proud of their piccolo trumpet.
The instrument looks great and feels excellent ...- Read Hereward9's review (289 words)
