Initially they appeared to be friendly and helpful in getting the right flights for you. Then they charge £50 per person to reserve the flights. (so far - ok). They send an email with the flight details, deposit confirmed and THEN their bank details saying that you need to transfer money by tomorrow. They promise you a four star hotel and don't it really is a disgusting half a star hotel the room is very dirty and the bathroom is the size of a wardrobe, the beds that we sleep on you can feel the springs in the mattress, the air conditioning makes an awful noise all night and the fridge didn't seem to work either, their was no cleaning and nobody left any toilet paper or Amy other towels and soaps. I made the payments into the Putney branch of Barclays Bank at precisely 9.33 and obtained reciepts for both payments. I also called [name removed] to inform him immediately. His "line" was busy so i left a message with a colleague called [name removed] to let [name removed] know that i had paid in full. I did not hear from [name removed] for a few hours so i called again and left a message once more. At approximately 3pm i finaly recieved a call from [name removed] who said his accounts department were now dealing with the issueing of the tickets. No more contact until the next day 16th MAY at 3pm. When i recieved a call from Travel and Travels "accounts" department to inform me that the airline had not recieved my payments at 10.25 and had therefore cancelled my bookings and that i had also LOST MY DEPOSIT of £50.00 as that had been used to secure the seats. I was offered new tickets that would cost £450.00 which meant i was to fork out an extra £100.00 per passenger.
THE FACT REMAINS THAT-
a) i paid the money into a barclays account in the name of Travel n Travel limited at a Barclays branch.
b) i obtained reciepts for the payments noted at 9.33am (well within the 10am deadline on the email.)
c) if the money (cash) was paid to Travel and Travel limiteds account at 9.33, why was i told " the airline did not recieve your money till 10.25 so you've lost your booking AND your DEPOSIT.
d) Travel and Travel would have had to forward the money to the airline as i paid it directly to them and within the specified time frame.
THIS IN MY OPINION CONSTITUTES BAD PRACTICE.
I have reported them to the police and obtained a crime number.
i will be reporting them to ATOL and the office of fair trading in the morning.
I want my ticket or my money back in full.

This company gives you the cheapest price. Once you have paid deposit of £50 they ask for the full payment and are unable to provide tickets. Stories start and are told airline has changed price, and they demand a further payment. Stoped after that and paid for the same ticket through the airline at the unchanged price.They refused to refund and charged £150 for cancellation when airline never had my details in the first place. I did speak to one of their staff after trying 8 times to get to the right person and stated the following.
1. That I have reported to ATOL and told them they are trading under the corporate name of "Holy Makka Tours" with ATOL number 6721
2. I have reported them to the police and quoted the reference number
3. I have reported to the trading standard and they should be expecting the letter in the post
4. I have contacted the branch in which they opened the Barclays account which I was asked to pay into.
He finally made me stay on the phone and booked the ticket I have been fighting for for 3 days in 3 minutes

I can not believe any one who says these bars tads are good. My wife and I paid for a ticket and the next day we where told to send an extra £20 for booking fee. After we paid £1200 for our tickets. I never give reviews, but this was peculiar, it was a terrible service, and a big scam. I paid the flight fee plus their service charge after which they told me that the flight fee had increased and they were unable to proceed with the booking that it cost £195 more. I have asked for a refund and they are charging me so much for the refund. Their customer service is terrible and they toss you about to speak to anyone. I have been a victim of recent. They said they got a ticket for me on the Virgin Atlantic for £598.00 and they asked me to pay £50.00 deposit on the phone with my debt card which I did. The lady said she will send me the details of the bank that I will pay the balance to. After paying the whole amount they then told me that the depost did not go through and the airline could not issue me a ticket for the amount and the fare has gone higher. One man called who claimed to be the manager told me that is either I pay for higher fare or they charge me £100.00 cancelation fees but I said to him I don't accept that. The man insisted that I have to pay the cancellation fees and they still have my £618.00 because they asked me to pay £20.00 for the handling charges.

For your own sanity and finances DO NOT BOOK WITH TRAVEL AND TRAVEL.
After securing tickets with hefty deposit of £150 and then paying rest to their bank account, was told the next day that tickets had gone up. If I did not pay extra, would have to write and cancel and lose deposit. After paying the extra was then called and told the flights had been cancelled by the airline - but after checking and finding this was not true - was told flights not available at price! As I had paid for three people, I could not afford to lose all the money - so ended up paying yet even more!! ALL AIRLINES SHOULD STOP DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AS THEY ARE GIVING YOU ALL A BAD NAME - HOPE POLICE ARREST THEM ALL SOON!

Never have i ever had such a terrible experience with any travel agency......they do not have any accredition nor do they have an office so ou are simply at their mercy to talk to you over the phone should you need to complain. I booked a flight with them and it ended in tears. I was unable to travel on the date I needed to and refund became an issue. They do not accept card payment because your bank can reserve payment. They claim to have booked my flight and later called to tell me the ailine had cancelled my booking because they were over booked however I spoke to the airline and was told that I was on waiting list.(Travel and Travel knew this from the beginning and did not mention it) (read more)

Please do not even go near their website, they are a proper organised fraud scheme. Their website is registered in India so that they can not be investigated by ATOL, Their actual trade name is MB Travels ATOL 6721(Holy Makka Tours), payments come out from your account reflecting MB travels which they use to make reservations to airlines and never confirm these, having airlines to eventually cancel the booking. The staff will not process complaints by referral to a manager or provide a postal address to submit written complains to. They refuse to write respnses by letter or by e-mail to any complains or concerns with their standards of service. The website for them advises that they have an expanding business. eTheir address is MB Travels, 34 Green Street, Forest Gate, London, E7 8BZ. ATOL number 6721. They are a proper con. ATOL is not willing to investigate them because their website is registered in India, but when they make reservations with airlines they make through MB Travels which is registered with ATOL as Holy Makka Travels with the above ATOL number. Their payments on bank statements reflect MB Travels.

Dear, if you do not have any knowledge of how make quarry of a company, do not make up any story which matches your situation, I have seen there are many customer who are satisfied with this company and and they are coming back to them. Let me educate you about the Holy Makkah Tours Ltd and MB Travel there is no company associated with this company this is the biggest holiday maker and wholesale. Tomorrow if you open a company and use ATOL no 6721, is it Holy Makkah Tours fault, this is UK not a third world country. On the ATOL search what I have seen, it's clearly says by typing this ATOL no 6721 Holy Makkah Tours Ltd T/A MB Travel, and the address below. It is your fault you chose the cheapest online, also you must have missed their terms and condition, according to there website policy you have been a truly uneducated person. You must have missed a payment by making on time. So far comparing many feedback how come you are the unlucky one. People do not realize there mistake until they are paying for it. People start lying and blaming when they are in trouble, you do not need this attitude if you are a genuine person, before making blame to other correct your self, I have used them and using them I am excludes of around 300 family members in greater London, this is SEBASTIAN, this name has a grate number of people in scrounging community. THEY RAN AWAY, THERE ARE NOT LICENSE HOLDER, (name removed) AND HIS GANG WILL GET ALL UPERSONAL DETAIL AND CARD DETAIL AND BEFOR YOU KNOW IT MONEY WILL BE MISSING FROM U ACCOUNT, THERE ARE GANGS STILL PEOPLE MONEY, ASK THEM FOR THERE OFFICE ADDRESS TO PICK UP THE TICKET AND U WILL FIND OUT THEY DO NOT HAVE A BASE.

Thanks a lot. They finally booked my ticket.
I did speak to one of their staff after trying 8 times to get to the right person and stated the following.
1. That I have reported to ATOL and told them they are trading under the corporate name of "Holy Makka Tours" with ATOL number 6721
2. I have reported them to the police and quoted the reference number
3. I have reported to the trading standard and they should be expecting the letter in the post
4. I have contacted the branch in which they opened the Barclays account which I was asked to pay into.
He finally made me stay on the phone and booked the ticket I have been fighting for for 3 days in 3 minutes
