I got the Samsung i8910 HD about 2 months ago, and as I've never used a Symbian phone before, it took me a few days to find my way around the apps etc and just doing everyday things 'quickly'. This is the same with all phones, as we all know.
Once I HAD got used to it; tailored the settings, icon postions in the main menus etc for ease of use and speed....I was away!
I'm now really pleased with it and so glad I got this over the 3GS, which I was also considering. The battery life was initially poor, but improved after a week of re-charging. I've also now updated the firmware to the latest IG2 and it's sorted out a few minor issues too, along with increasing the battery life more, it's now got HQ audio to go with the HD recording - this was previously a lower bitrate not suited to HD. All done now...and loving it!!
All in all - I'm really pleased with the i8910...get one, you'll love it!

A 3.7" OLED capacitive touchscreen, an 8 megapixel camera that should be able to humble even some digicams and of course the HD video recording - does it really get any sweeter? Geeks have been warned - continue reading this preview at your own risk. We a

samsung omnia hd review: For the Omnia HD to be more successful than its predecessor it will need to have a focused strength, in imaging and media playback perhaps, and it will need to be far easier to use.

Long, big and bulky. But despite the description, the Omnia HD is much easier on the eyes for multimedia needs and general usage as well with its large 3.7-inch AMOLED screen

I've had an Omnia but had continual problems with hardware and WinMo was something to be desired. I upgraded to the Innov8 and haven't looked back. Now that the new Omnia is based on Symbian OS - I can't wait. I love the 8mpx camera in Innov8. The HD Om

I wanted another mobile(i have the Samsung F700 great phone) tried the sony ericsson W960I(8Gb) and the Nokia N95 8Gb. What a difference! the S.E has great music quality and great battery life. The Nokia has neither. Go for the S.E W960I it leaves the nokia looking like yesterdays man.
I imported my Samsung i900 Omnia 16gb - I like the phone it has so many features wifi, blutooth, word pad, excel, 5mp camera to name a few i900 has a 3.2" screen which is not used very well as the size of the font used in text messages in so tiny its nearly impossible to see it which defeats the object of having a large screen. It can perform any type of file i have thrown at it and even downloaded stardust movie onto it and can watch it full screen. Overall if you got good eye sight to read...
This Blackberry Storm should not have been released, it is an awful piece of engineering. It is very very slow, it does not let you hold the phone to your face as your cheek acitvates the other buttons.
There is no doubt that the Apple iPhone 3G is an amazing phone - the look and feel, responsiveness, application capability, graphics, email connectivity - all excellent. You'll never pick up a better phone to use.
It's shortcomings are actually external. This is my first foray into the Apple world, and there are a number of things I don't like about it. iTunes is an awful, buggy, sluggish, unintuitive piece of software. It attempts lots of background tasks when you don't want it to....
I like the style and look of this phone but am dissapointed with the lack of features, you would expect to be able to bluetooth other makes of phone and send picture messages with a phone costing this amount. I also like the fact you can download.
