Touchscreen madness may be sweeping the world, but there are still plenty of us left who want good old-fashioned buttons to press, not to mention a contract that doesn't require us to sell our very souls.

Sony Ericsson T715
25 Jun 2009

Summary
The problem that we have with the T715 is that it is desperately hard to find something interesting about it. We're not saying that this is going to be a bad phone, just that it's about as bland as a plate of plain tofu.

Sony Ericsson T715 review
6 Oct 2009

Summary
The Sony Ericsson T715 has been sat on for quite some time by it Japanese-Swedish mobile maker. We first saw it back in June, but now the "executive" slider, as it's been styled, is finally out in the UK. Is this a dumphone that suits would ditch ...

Pros
Small form, microSD slot, Google Maps

Cons
Still no 3.5mm audio, goes nowhere other Sony Ericsson phones haven't been before

Verdict
Comfortable, familiar, but nothing new: old slippers in slider form

Sony Ericsson T715
15 Oct 2009

Summary
The Sony Ericsson T715 is a slider mobile phone with a 2.2-inch QVGA screen. It has a 3.2-megapixel camera, Google Maps and a microSD slot. It measures 91.5x48x14.9mm and weighs 97g.

Pros
Forget BlackBerrys, the Sony Ericsson is the best-looking business phone in, erm, the business. It's so pocketable and cute that it's hard not to admire the T715. And thanks to a slide-out keypad popping out from under the sensual 2.2-inch screen, it ...

Cons
As good as the T715 is it feels old, for want of a better word. It looks too similar to the year-old Sony Ericsson W995, which isn't a bad thing, but with snazzy new Android handsets hitting stores every day it feels a bit behind the times. Elsewhere ...

Verdict
The Sony Ericsson is a very good handset and will perform a multitude of tasks to your liking, even if it feels a little bit like last year's model.

Pros
Stylish design ; convenient size ; easy to use

Cons
Camera and music player feel like hobbled versions of those on other Sony Ericsson handsets

Verdict
There's nothing particularly wild or crazy about the Sony Ericsson T715. It's a straightforward phone with a solid set of features and a stylish design. Those who want a small, smart 3G handset that's simple to use should appreciate the T715

Samsung U600
22 May 2008

I totally agree with all the other reviews that say the Samsung U600 phone is awful - because it is. It may look nice, but that is where the good points end. It switches itself off and you need to remove the battery to turn it on again. Text messages 'fail' and you can't read them. The camera won't work if there is a lot of other data on the phone (images, texts, music) - and when it does work, it's very very slow. After being in an area of no signal, it won't find signal again until you turn...

LG GD900 Crystal phone is rubbish if it's not freezing up on me it's turning itself off and sometimes won't turn back on for about half hour. As i was 2 days over my 28 day money back guarantee at carphone warehouse they won't replace the phone only send it off and hope it comes back fixed!!!!! The concept of the phone is great good ideas but they should have spent longer on the build as it is very plasticy and flimzy
