Sony Ericsson Naite GreenHeart review coming soon
Summary
In terms of raw specifications, the Naite is not very exciting. It has a 2.2" 240 x 320 pixel display, a 2 megapixel camera, an FM radio, stereo Bluetooth and 3.5G data. The Naite also drops Sony's proprietary Memory Stick Micro expansion and uses microSD
Summary
Sony Ericsson has unveiled affordable 3G devices named as Naite, a candybar phone, thus showing its commitment to GreenHeart. The phone has basic email and texting ability and supports video calls as well. It also has a 2 mega pixel camera along with phot
Summary
Green guilt is spreading. And so are green gadgets. The Samsung Blue Earth and LG Pop both aim to save the planet with solar charging and apps to keep your carbon footprint in check. And the Sony Ericsson Naite is also vying for your attention, showing ju
Pros
Green credentials
Cons
Very basic, lacks cool feature, conservation quiz
Verdict
A basic green phone that doesn't compare well to rivals the Samsung Blue Earth and LG Pop
Summary
The Sony Ericsson Naite is the first in a new line of GreenHeart eco friendly blowers from the phone peddler, promising a 15% reduced carbon footprint, a shell made from at least 50% recycled plastics, and a low power charger. It'll still work as a regula
Pros
The Sony Ericsson Naite is a nice, slim size and the 3G connection for faster web browsing and YouTube guzzling is always welcome. Anyone who's used a Sony Ericsson phone before will be right at home here thanks to the same old software and menu layout, a
Cons
So, the Sony Ericsson Naite is an eco-friendly phone. That's cool. Why does that mean we have to have a rubbish, two-megapixel camera in there too though? It's not like saving the world and decent cameras are mutually exclusive. There's no 3.5mm audio eit
Verdict
Hats off to Sony Ericsson for trying to go green with the Sony Ericsson Naite. Why launch a phone to celebrate that though, then strip out the decent specs? Keep up the eco work guys, but get back to making Cyber-shots, please.
Summary
Sony Ericsson's Naite isn't a heart-starter but let's face it, the reason you'd buy the Naite is for the secret pleasure of knowing your phone is slightly less of a burden on the environment than those wretched iPhones.
Pros
Constructed from recycled materials, Good call quality, Can sync with Microsoft Exchange server
Cons
Expensive, Average camera, No 3.5mm headphone socket, Basic web browsing

Expensive • Average camera • No 3.5mm headphone socket • Basic web browsing
Summary
The Sony Ericsson Naite (pronounces Nighty, apparently) is an entry-level 3G mobile phone with green credentials.
Verdict
The Sony Ericsson Naite is a solid yet largely uninspiring handset. Its green credentials are admirable, but it is expensive for a low-end mobile phone.
Summary
Dispensing with design frills and touchscreen controls, the Naite is a straightforward handset with an eco-friendly emphasis. It packs in enough features to keep most users happy, including 3G connectivity and a music player, and its lengthy battery life
Pros
Fast 3G and HSDPA data speeds ; simple operation ; long battery life
Cons
Low-resolution camera ; microSD card slot is hidden under the back cover
Verdict
You won't find any touchscreen controls, flashy features or design frills on the Sony Ericsson Naite. This eco-friendly handset takes a comparatively straightforward approach to the business of being a mobile phone, and, besides its camera, it does a pret
Pros
small & lightweight. decent media playback (esp audio). lasting battery life. simple and ease of use
Cons
may experience lag at times. poor camera. lack of wi-fi
The Samsung F490 is a good handset overall apart from the issue of the keyboard i thoroughly enjoyed playing with this handset
Samsung L700 is a gud multimedia set with gud audio quality
The Sony Ericsson K810i phone is one of the best phones i have had! It has met my needs, and is ultimately the best!
I wanted a pay as you go phone on a different contract to my contract phone because the T-mobile signal is not reliable in some areas I visit. I didn't want to pay over £50 and I was surprised to find the Samsung E250 which fitted the bill perfectly and is on Vodafone. The screen is 32mm x 40mm and is very clear except in bright sunlight. It is quite slim and only weighs 80g. It has an MP3 player and fm radio - the latter only seems to play through headphones so I haven't bothered with it...
My Sony Ericsson W580i key fell off, buttons cracked about 4-5 then the centre button broke firstly the up key would not work then after the other arrows became select keys so i could therefore not even use the phone the build is to good either as the back came off after dropping in form about 4 foot.
