I have bought five of the "kits" that is the battery part, and the tip, in a week, and although I fully charge the battery before I use it, I find the battery runs down within an hour or so, and the tip, which is supposed to be the equivalent of 40 cigs, usually lasts about five or six hours. I don't puff that much! Not happy with the recent quality of the product, the battery part used to stay usable for weeks, now it seems I have to replace it twice or thrice every week.

Yes, as a nicotine substitute E-lites are great. However, having been using them for 6months (a fair time to review objectively) I find the batteries do not hold their charge for more than 3 hours or so - ok so long as you have plenty of spares. My main complaint is that the claim that one tip is the equivalent to 40 cigarettes is ludicrous. Some last longer than others, mostly less than 12 hours max. I used to smoke 15 cigarettes a day max.... but am using 1 - 2 tips daily making it very expensive indeed. The only bonus is that I am not inhaling tobacco smoke. I am definitely looking for an alternative as these are turning out to be very overpriced!

A packet of 2 tips approx 80 cigarettes, really only last approx 40 cigarettes, but still got to be better health wise, even though bit expensive,

Taste and nicotine hit are good. However, i only ever smoked 10 a day and these that are meant to be equivalent to 40 cigarettes . NO CHANCE!!! I spend more on these than on the real things. I have stopped smoking but am not prepared to pay for these anymore. I have also bought some that were no good and did not work at all. I feel a little bit of research is needed as far as the manufacturing is concerned. When the work they are good. Very disappointed and am now on the nicorette inhalater much better ! If they could get the refills right it has the potential to be very good

i have used E-Lites now since 2009 with the odd rogue tip but there again as a smoker i used to get a few that did not taste right in my packet of Bensons. i find the battery life is great i just recharge it overnight and i'm good to go the next day all day with just one tip, i smoke quite hard but still manage on average around 30 fags per tip and at £7.99 for 2 tips that's great value, i have read and commented on a few of these bad reviews and the one thing i have noticed is that people when they have a issue just complain about it rather than call them to see if they can resolve your issue, they are not perfect but i have tried most out there and they are still my preferred choice i keep coming back to

I bought these as my Joyetech had ran out of juice and I was going to London for a few days, the corner shop was the quickest option for my nicotine fix! They are well presented and remind me of disposable type E-cigarettes or cigars. I bought the vape itself and 2 packs of the extremely overpriced cartomisers. The battery thread is not compatible with the 510 or any other vapes I have tried so you are locked into buying their cartomisers at about 7 pounds for 2!! They are however a pleasent vape with good 'tobacco' flavour and throat hit. The cartomiser lasted me about a day of light to medium use but the batteries do not last because it is a mini and so there is not much space in the battery tube for long life. The solution was to carry a USB power pack with me and connect the charger to that and that kept me going 3 days (generic 4 AA USB battery box) so I was happy. I would recommend it to vaping newbies just so they can see what vaping is like and then recommend they go online and get some e-liquid and a 510 compatible kit. I would also recommend they join an online e-cigarette community. So yes! Get these from the shop when a backup is needed if something goes wrong with your main vape or you forget to buy that tasty bottle of e-liquid again!

I would recommend this to my friends because actually, it is not smoke at all. In fact, it is just water vapor that is practically odorless, so you do not have to worry about your area getting all smelled up. Your clothes will no longer smell like smoke, either. When you exhale you may smell a very slight odor, if any at all. It is absolutely nothing in comparison to traditional cigarettes. However, in my personal opinion they are much safer than traditional cigarettes.

I ordered an E-lite when I saw a discount code in my moms magazine, it was for one E-lite with a charger and 5 free tips. It was ordered roughly 2 and a half weeks ago, we have had nothing but trouble from their delivery service, being told different things every time we phone up, we are constantly told it's been sent out then when we call up because it hasn't arrived they make up some story and tell us they're sending it out again. Today something amazing happened, the E-lite came, but strangely my free refills haven't, now I wander why they didn't just pack them together. So upon calling them about this for the millionth time we have been told again it's been resent... I wouldn't mind seeing all these E-Lites that have been 'resent' arrive on my doorstep sometime. But my honest opinion on the product it's self is good, I haven't touched a real cigarette since, I love the taste of the vapor, I love smoking indoors again. I've even found a few shops in Birmingham city centre that stock refills so I don't need to put up with their bad delivery service! The product it's self is fantastic, they just need to sort out their delivery. Hope my refills come soon E-Lite!

I decided to trial E-Lites electronic cigarettes as they'd approached me outside Euston station one week. The initial sales patter sounded interesting, but I wasn't in a position to buy there and then and wanted to surf the net to do some research. I've smoked for 15 years, and want to stop, but cold turkey doesn't appeal. Having done some online research, it appeared that E-Lites was a pretty straightforward product, however after finding mixed reviews online, I checked out their website and still had some questions. I phoned their customer services, and was quite underwhelmed by the nonchalant approach. So knowing I'd be in London the next week, I decided to speak to the sales guys outside Euston again and potentially give it a go. To be honest, their technical knowledge wasn't great. I felt they needed to know much more about the spec and the durability, charging times, length of battery life etc. I was also caught out a little by the fact that they added a £1 credit card fee to the transaction just as I was buying - ok it's only £1, but add-on charges need to be made clear upfront I feel. Good points - the product feels like it's well made, the taste is similar to smoking a cigarette, but of course there's none of that carcinogenic smoke you get with normal cigarettes. So you don't stink of cigarettes, plus also on train journeys you can nip into the bogs for a quick puff and can get away with it. Overall it is pretty similar to smoking a 'normal' cigarette - so as convincing NRT, I think it's viable. One week in, I haven't touched a 'normal' cigarette though - which is a good thing. Bad points - the green LED that lights up when you puff still draws bemused are-you-a-weirdo kind of glances. The product is heavier, and slightly fatter, than a normal cigarette. The cartridges definitely don't last for 15-20 cigarettes - I'd say more like 1-2 days max if you smoke sparingly (I used to be on between 5-10 cigarettes a day). The battery also doesn't have great life - I reckon it'd struggle to get through an entire day without charging, and I have had the product for a week now. I also think it should come with a mains charger included - the USB one is a bit of a pain unless you have a computer around you, and on, most of the time. Overall...my review is mixed, like many others out there. If you are looking to feel healthier, save a bit of money, and try something new, then give this a go. If you are looking to break a habit, this could help as it is definitely good for breaking the usual cig-break routines. I would recommend this product - but with the proviso's above. They need to get longer lasting cartridges, improve battery life, include a mains charger, and sharpen up their sales staff. But I am glad I am trying them, I prefer it to smoking 'normal' cigarettes now. Even if most people still see me smoking it and think I'm either a) freak or b) owner of a joke shop.

Try the Riva 510 and buy separately a dual coil cartomizer. I don't even think about cigs anymore as smoking this is a far superior experience. I still haven't found my perfect e juice but love trying all the different favours anyhow. Sites I have bought from and would recommend are liberro, liberty flights and misteliquid. Good luck n have fun.

thank you for your review of our product, we do on occasions get feedback that our tips do not last the 80 cigarettes. the 40/80 cigarettes is an average figure, it depends on the user and how hard and how long they drag on the filter. the vast majority of our customers find they do last around the average figure quoted. they are also tested at random to ensure this is the case. perhaps the pack you brought may have had a fault. you can call our customer service team to discuss any issues you may have, they are there to help, as for the cost at £7.99 for 80 cigarettes is still half the price of normal tobacco and we feel represents good value for money, thanks again for your review your comments matter .
