I have fished at Derwent Reservoir, Northumbrian Water for a number of years now and have never been dissapointed. Yes I have had fishless days but very few. Generally I have good quality fish at varying weights of up to 12.5 lb. Bag limits are good (8 and 12 fish) and there are family ticket combinations available. Derwent Reservoir still continues to to excell as a bigwater fishing venue and has not disappointed over this season. Despite its heavy use it cosistently offers brilliant fishing for novice and expert alike. My five year old grandson fished there recently and outfished his grandad by 2 fish to three his first being three and a half punds Money cant buy that sort of experience. All in all a fishery that continues to deliver and one that I would continue to use and reccommend without hesitaton
