I've only had this Honda VFR400 NC30 398 for a few months, i bought it as a wreckage and had been sitting in a mates garden bare to the elements for 2 years.
i get it home and put some fresh juice in and some fresh battery power. and vroom!
its a nice tidy package. it handles brilliantly.
Parts are a bit on the Expensive side though, i just paid £57 for a Gear lever and i've got to pay for a new nosecone which is like £140 but at end of the day its a classic iconic legend, they dont make em anymore and even though its a 20 year old bike its still shows its racing pedigree.
perfect for small riders and ones that have just passed thier test and dont want a full whack sports bike.
plenty of add ons and i've seen some examples reaching above the 60BHP manufacturer spec. i've seen examples hit around 76BHP with minor work, and when the HRC parts are added it makes a bit of difference.
to some it up:
Great bike, Reliable, Parts kinda expensive and some very rare. getting old now so find a mint version. UK clocks are rarities as most 400's were Imports i was lucky and found some UK clocks for my import. 10 out of 10
