“Worst shopping experience I have ever had.”

Waited in for 10 hours to not have my bed delivered. Rang Archer's Sleep Centre who kindly explained that they had no idea where my bed was and could do nothing about it. Three days later I was informed that they had e-mailed me to tell me that my bed wouldn't be delivered on the day guaranteed; which they hadn't. When the bed finally arrived a week late there were parts missing. “Substandard Goods, Non Existent Customer Service-AVOID!!!”

I ordered a gateleg table from Archers sleepcentre in Glasgow, and duly paid an extra £15 to secure a delivery slot between 0800-1300 on Fri 14th March. The table still hadn't been delivered by 1400, so I phoned the sleepcentre, only to be told that the goods had been sent to the wrong depot, and it was now in Nottingham! “Do you enjoy paying for items you will not get?”

They are super-unreliable; They keep telling you lies on the delivery date, make random promises they wont remember or keep. Do yourself a favor and do not buy from this company. The problem seems to be a resulting from a combination of the business model itself and a lack of trade ethics. Due to their business model, they do not seem to have a proper control or any kind of influence over the supply chain. Same with me, two days we waited and we rang them about 6 times, today when we rang them they said we have none. Seriously? They took £175 off us then make us wait and wait until they finally say we've got none, by law they need to put if they're low on stock on the website and they didn't. They've conned us out of money we could use for something else so now we are going to get our money back. Also we were offered two used ones.

“AVOID AT ALL COSTS - CANCELLED MY ORDER”

Unfortunately you cannot post a review without giving them a star rating. They deserve a MINUS 5. Three failed deliveries - unbelievable excuses and non interested staff when you phone. We received outright lies during our course of dealing with them. I am appalled and never in my life experienced service like this - I do not know how they are still trading. Order 6 items totalling nearly £1000.00. I knew delivery was going to be 3-5 weeks and towards the end of the 5 weeks I telephoned to be curtly told when the items are ready for delivery I will receive a message. The following week I received an e-mail asking me to ring to arrange delivery. What a farce it has been!! Took ½ day off work with a delivery slot of 2pm - 6pm. This so called "Company" is the worst I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. They take the full amount of money from your card/account when ordering goods, even if they have no goods in stock. I do all my shopping on line, Christmas and otherwise and I have never, ever known a company to take full payment until your goods/order has been dispatched but they do, oftentimes, weeks before your order is due to be delivered. “it's uncomfy sleeping without a mattress ”

Bed frame along with mattress and pillows was all meant to come yesterday, only bed frame arrived, was told the rest would come today but now had a call from the delivery company saying that it's at the wrong depo, they don't know if the pillows are with it and I have to wait till tomorrow for delivery. After ordering 2 products from archers sleep centre via the internet, booked my delivery day only for it to not only be ignored but there were parts missing!! Customer service at head office are unapologetic, in a rush to 'deal' with your complaint and down right rude....AVOID!!! 1 week on from this disaster and I am informed that I must repackage the components that did arrive and pay (yes - pay!) for it to be returned! How I wish I had read these reviews before buying anything from Archers sleep centre. Steer well clear of this company. I ordered a table and 6 chairs in November for Christmas. They immediately took full payment from my account but delivery was scheduled for 3 weeks time, well before Christmas, on 6th December. “Awful customer care - avoid at all cost”

Bed delivered with wrong feet - I had paid £20 extra for particular type of feet. Phoned on day of delivery (Tuesday 3 September) and was told bluntly it was not their fault but the suppliers and that they would sent out "First Class" within a day or 2.
