    Bad Points: Macintosh nickle and dimes you for EVERYTHING!!


    General comments: I recently received an Apple ipod as a gift. I have initial set up problems and contacted customer support, using my ONE free support service (any future problems will cost $40 each). Following the return of the first ipod, I was sent another ipod that is incapable of keeping a charge for more than 1 day (unused). I am terribly disappointed with the product I purchased, the service provided by Macintosh, and the fact that I am stuck with a product that is pretty much not usable!

    The ipod is a terrible product,ear foams do not fit snuggly, so you can lose them easily. I called Apple for a refund, but they wouldn't. I asked for a replacement even though they were cheap, they wouldn't. They said it would be $9.99 and they're made in China! they are really out there to get your money, they're really a rip-off!

    Apple iPod - Although I haven't had my iPod for very long, I can say that it probably the best gadget I've ever gotten. Transfering songs is soooooo easy (but I have a Mac, and I've heard it's harder on Windows) and the sound quality is great. The controls are simple and easy to use. I also like how small and light it is, which is good for skating. Unfortunately you pay a hefty price for a good quality product.     I dont actually own one of these Apple iPod but a friend of mine has one, plus i have read ALL the specs about it on apple.com. This machine is a GOD of an mp3 player. the fact that they put games in it to is just ingenius, because there isn't any (to my knowledge) mp3 players with games. The storage space on these things is insane, I had an mp3 player that held 300-400 songs, but this, this is just awesome. Up to 10,000 songs? I have 250 songs on my computer, so i would most likely get the 10GB ...

    Great player, never skips it nice and portable easy to carry along on road trips instead of carrying a bunch of cd's, its a great product

    I love this Apple iPod portable MP3 player so much. I have 2,700 songs on mine so far and endless editing and playlist building with wonderful software makes this the perfect MP3. Bought Bose noise cancelling headphones for the perfect sound.

    Love the Apple iPod portable MP3 player. But my Apple rep told me that those using Windows can download from Mediafour after installing a firewire port. Mediafour has a Beta version of their software that crashed my system so hard that I had to reformat my system. Yes, Apple is way ahead of the pack for the next six months. By the time media four perfects thier software, Sony and others will be up to speed. Wait until Mediafour perfects their software, or others catch up.

    I just purchased my Apple iPod portable MP3 player from the Woodfield Apple store in Shaumburg Illinois. The purchase was more of a "want" than a "need". After working many many hours on a company project, my labor has beared fruit. With all the overtime I accumilated, I decided to treat myself with a new "gadget".

    The iPod portable MP3 player from Apple is by far the coolest mp3 player around-simple controls-typically high Apple build quality-large capacity-excellent sound (with new headphones) updates with mac automatically and really can be filled in minutes! and everybody who sees it asks what it is and none are unimpressed!
