Dreadful service - they failed to deliver my fathers birthday present, claimed no-one was in for delivery (despite both my parents and the warden in their warden assisted accommodation all being in, plus neighbours in the complex), didn't even a knowledge my complaint, then delivered the gift late with the contents smashed. I received 6 cupcakes as a gift and it was a lovely surprise when they arrived at my house, however the cakes were very dry, very dense and completely tasteless. The icing was flavourless apart from the sprinkles on the top, some of which were difficult to tell the flavour if and others were far too strong. Mother's day gift. 6 cupcakes boxed in an unsuitable box with flimsy sellophane lid. Planter containing flowers in water pushed on top with no packaging to separate items. Cupcakes completely squashed and flower water had tipped over the cakes rendering them inedible. Flowers fresh but some broken flower heads. Disappointing and a waste of my son's money. (read more)

This company delivers absolutely appalling service. Ordered a Xmas gift for friends on 5 Dec 2012. Advised it would be delivered on the 18 Dec 2012, so stayed home from work to receive and nothing arrived. Then confirmation of delivery time slot for 21 Dec 2012 only for it not to turn up. Got a Christmas hamper for a client. Delivered within the 1 hour window that I was advised. Beautifully presented hamper with a nice selection of products, I havent tasted anything as they're not for me (unfortunately), but they look great. I ordered a helium balloon for my daughters birthday from Bradfords Bakers - I ordered the Airwalker Yummie Mummie cake balloon illustrated on their site for a total price of £21.80 including a massive shipping cost of £6.95. Ordered a gift hamper for an 80th Birthday surprise as I was out the Country, returned home after a week to find no delivery was made and even worse no attempts made to contact myself or the recipient. Purchased this as a birthday gift for my sister's 70th but arrived 3 days late. The items when eventually delivered were fine, but the issues here are that I spoke to Bradfords when it was clear the courier hadn't been to the correct address (no card left and my sister was at home before and after the advised delivery window)and I was told someone would call me back. After ordering my boyfriend some valentines day cupcakes i read these reviews online and was concerned after reading so many negative reviews. However i am pleased to say that the cupcakes arrived on valentines day as ordered, beautifully wrapped with a handwritten card and were the most amazing cupcakes ever. My only criticism was that they were slightly squished however that made no impact on how tasty the cakes were and my boyfriend loved them. (read more)

Wow! I can not believe how similar our experiences were with this company.........
I placed an order, a very small one mind you, for a box of 9 Valentine cupcakes for my colleagues at work. First of all it did not arrive on Valentine's day, which the dispatch note said it would. So I called on 15th Feb and also spoke to the famous "Beverley" to cancel this order as I no longer required Valentine cakes on the 15th!!
I had to phone up around 6 times in order to get my refund authorised, which it finally did around 20th Feb 2012 and to date (which is 9th April 2012), have not received my refund.
I have had the same rubbish told to me that someone will call me back, where no-one EVER has and have also been told that due to Mothers day which I recall was the 18th March 2012, caused a delay to my refund, that was 3 weeks ago!
I'm not one who can ever be bothered to write reviews, but this is actually one of the worst services i've ever received. Stick to Greggs or Marks and Spencer's for any cakes in the future!!

It was a surprise so I was very pleased to receive an email pinpointing delivery to between 2.30pm and 3.30pm I thought this was better than just saying am or pm. I used this company in 2010 for a Christmas hamper delivery and the service was not great then but I gave them the benefit of the doubt in 2011 and used them again and the service was absolutely appalling. My Father very kindly ordered one of these hampers for my family for Christmas. I live in the States and the hamper finally arrived three days ago. UPS would only release it after we paid the custom clearance fee of $21.95 nothing of which was mentioned to my Dad when he ordered it. What can i say. Absolutley delighted with the cakes i received for my daughter , she is 3 years old and all she wanted was pink chocolate cakes off santa. I ordered 9 cup cakes in a presentation box on Saturday to be delivered for my daughters wedding anniversary today, I did not look at the reviews before I ordered and if I had I would not have ordered from them. It's now 3 months since I ordered a hamper and guess what, no delivery, no response to emails, no phone calls returned, no response to recorded delivery letter. It now seems like the only way forward, and according to many of the reviews, is the Small Claims Court. I'm certainly not letting this lot off with nearly £100 of my money. I have ordered from Bradford Bakery before and the last box of cup cakes where slightly damaged, but I overlooked it. More fool me !! Ordered an expensive box of cupcakes for birth of new baby and paid for courier delivery by UPS. What arrived was a crushed box of cakes, delivered upside down. Not surprisingly the contents of the box didn't look anything like what was presented on the website. Requests for money back were not responded to. The sound of broken glass confirmed my immediate impression that the bottle of wine must have smashed. Wished I hadn't opened it because everything was damaged in some way. Like others who have written before me, this company do not honour their orders. I ordered a Christmas Hamper on 12/12 for delivery on 23/12 and it has still not arrived. I have not had responses to my emails.
This hamper was ordered for my Mother who is in ill health and based in deepest Scotland, far from where I can get to her easily (I live in the South East of England). To let people down like this at such an important time of year is dreadful.
I will not be letting this go.
