really not happy with Castle Espie. Went on their green fair day and was not only disappointed but really out of pocket. We arrived and spent £4 to park in a field! We then spent £16 to get in (two adults and a 5 year old). The only reason that this review is not one star is that my son quite enjoyed feeding the ducks. Castle Espie is great day out for all the family, just outside Comber on the Bally Drain Road it's about a mile out in the country but feels alot further, On the shores of strangford lough the WWT (wild fowl and wetlands trust) have run this site for a number of years and progressed the site well to cater and educate members of the public on various wild fowl and the history of castle espie it's self, which at one time made pottery and bricks among other artefacts from the limestone found...
