Although the Nokia 8800 Stainless Steel is a very attractive mobile phone I'm afraid as soon as you take it out of the box and get over the first good impressions of the sleek/well weighted/very well put together phone on the outside as soon as you switch it on you begin to see that if you're someone who likes their mobile phone to have the latest up to date features that this is not the mobile phone for you. Indeed I'm very disappointed in nokia to charge between £325 to a silly £699+ for a mobile phone that has a SVGA camera! Also having no memory card slot was a big mistake on this model making having an MP3 player useless as the internal 64MB of memory could only fit 5 tracks at the most. Simply put it's an expensive phone that looks great but lacks features that you would get on a phone at half the price, sort it out Nokia you can do better!

The premium segment always lacked the offer from the main manufacturers, since that is not enough just to announce the device as status; it has to prove this name. Due to that plenty of status devices by unknown manufacturers using technological ...

Verdict
The device is designed as a popular today slider, Nokia lacked such devices till recently. The Nokia 8910 may be considered the maximum close to smartphones, but here another mechanism pulling the functional part up from the external one is applied. ...

Summary
We got all dressed up and went out on a hot date with Nokia's latest top of the line 8000 series fashion phone, the stainless steel clad 8800. While we had fun, there were a number of issues hidden underneath that beautiful exterior.

Nokia 8800 Sirocco, 7373 and 7390: Nokia 8800 S...

Summary
The Nokia 8800 Sirocco Editio is a fairly minor but useful upgrade of the existing Nokia 8800, replacing the 0.5 megapixel camera in the 8800 with a much more useful 2.0 megapixel device and increasing the internal memory from 64Mb tp 128Mb. There's ...

Samsung G600

It looks great and its the best phone I could get for under 100 pounds since I hate touch screen phones. Good phone but it let me down on the music player. The music player is poor compared to my last phone. I also wish it was louder.

Sony Ericsson W890i
30 Jul 2008

A good looking small phone with good features I would recommend this phone to anyone. Take my word for it its one that you want to keep for a long time. It could be a bit louder and buttons could be a bit bigger but still one of my fav phones. I also love the steel shiny case on it so its a 9 out of 10 for me.
