We were a bit disappointed at the lack of showers and wc at Wharf Tavern at Goldstone, you could use loo during pub hours but had to go into the pub,we did not like this, so used our own facilities.
Never the less it was a lovely site well maintained, and the pub was very busy, staff friendly and helpful,food was good and plentiful, served by friendly polite staff, the barman was a real character, owners very pleasant.

Overall a good 8 nights, we are going back next summer.

Wharf Tavern at Goldstone Camping is a good site,good food, good choice of trad ales . alot of work going on to bring this site up to date,has the makeing to be atop site when work is done.new toilt & shower blocks being built when we stayed there one to look out for.

A group of us booked a couple of night's camping on one of the adjacent fields at wharf tavern and on the Friday night ate at the pub. It was very very busy and the staff seemed very stressed. The menu was limited and fairly expensive. we found the food below average and certainly not good value for money. The most memorable event concerned one of our group. She ordered fish and chips.
