Bad Points: Installation kit not in the box

General comments: We have now had our Waterside Ultra 450S water softener for about eight weeks and are delighted. The softener was delivered without an installation kit, rectified with just one phone call to Plumb Centre. But now it is up and running I am surprised at the difference it has made. Being able to use block salt is a real plus especially as the big bags are so heavy to move about. When the fitting kit when it did arrive it contained everything my neighbour needed to install it and he was gone by just after lunch. I wasn't sure about the claim of not needing to put salt in my dishwasher but its true and our dishes still sparkle just like the brochure said they would. Although I am still hesitant to reduce the amount of washing tablets I use but I am sure I will come around to it before long. They said it would be easy to use and it is apart from putting the blocks of salt in the cradle there is nothing to do it easier to use than my dishwasher. My only regret is we didn't get one the last time we had the kitchen done!!!!
