    Bad Points: No Air Con


    General comments: Le Morgane is a really good hotel. The things that make it great for me include the following:- Location is spot on for Chamonix. Its right in the centre next to the river, so everything within the centre of Chamonix is only a 5 minute walk away.- The staff are exceptional. On reception they are extremely friendly and helpful - really makes a difference this- The rooms & decor are good - not exceptional, but definitely very good (we were upgraded to a jnr suite - Id imagine the standard rooms are a little small, so if you're into large bedroom sizes this may be an issue for you)- The spa is also good - again, not the best spa I've ever been to, but it's very good.The only negative, and this is obvioulsy only an issue for the summer, is the hotel has no air con - and the rooms can get very hot indeed. We had to ask for a fan for the room, without it you're going to struggle to sleep at night in the peak of summerSo, its a shame that air con isnt installed or that fans are not put in the rooms in the summer as standard, but apart from that Le Morgane is a really, really good hotel and I'd highly recommend it as an excellent place to stay to visit the great Chamonix landscape
