    Good Points: Washes well.


    Bad Points: Very noisy throughout the wash rinse cycles, and no quieter in my opinion during the spin cycle than any previous washing machine we have owned.


    General comments: We complained about the continous loud droning noise as soon as we first used this machine after it was fitted in our new kitchen. An engineer changed a pump, which did not improve the noise, a second pump of a different type was fitted, which marginally improved things, but the engineer said there was nothing more he could do.

    On complaining to AEG Customer Care they said that although this is advertised as 'Silent System Whisper Quiet' operation, this only describes the spin cycle, and the noise was normal.

    This AEG L63742VI is by far the noisiest washing machine we have ever owned, it makes being in the kitchen while it is in use very unpleasant.
