Excellent all round reel and hard to fault. Spool change relatively straightforward and easy. Chaning to right hand wind simplicity. Plenty of room for backing and 7/8 weight lines. Reel noise not a problem on rewinding more noise on taking line out. Would recommend this reel fo its weight,versatility and looks. (read more)

I wanted a reel with flexibility and the Greys GRXi one was the perfect choice. It comes with four spool cartidges in a convenient carrying case. With mixed lines on the spools the need to carry spare spools/reels is removed..The reel is light in use and has a smooth progressive drag with no grabbing when under pressure unlike other reels I have used. The spool cartridges allthough convenient are a little fiddly to change when in use however the weight and bulk advantages of them outweigh... (read more)

I now have a family of Greys reels including the GRXI. The reel still continues to give great service and the spools as well as being lightweight and easy to carry are interchangerble with the other Greys reels in the range. Considering the hard use it has had as well as the frequent dunkings the reel has weatherd well and continues to be a favourite.
