“No Claims Bonus”

I took out a policy a few weeks ago for a vehicle that has been off the road for 3 years, when asked if I had any no claims bonus I replied no because my no claims bonus was out of date for that vehicle, I was quoted around £350 comprehensive, I said no to this quote as i was quoted £235 by another insurer they asked me to hang on they'd try & get a cheaper quote & they quoted £239 so I took it for the sake of £4.00 everything was set up I received an e-mail with my covernote luvly jubbly… Read Full Review

“greedy, rubbish,always demand more money with fake excuses”

Being a Bewiser customer, I change my car from toyota corolla (2001) to skoda octavia(2007) the annual premium was £600, but bewiser demanded £200 additional saying skoda is bigger engine, 2.0 litre vs toyota 1.6. I paid and after another 3 months I sold the skoda octavia as it was breaking down and replace with another skoda of the same year 2007, smaller engine 1.9litre, so same brand, same model, same age, same driver, same circumstance and to my utter shock, Bewiser demanded another… Read Full Review

“Not good at all”

Very poor service - one staff member saying everything is fine because you explained me everything about previous policy cancellation, second thing what they doing is - after few weeks cancel policy and saying I didn't tell them about previous policy cancellation. And after that I have to wait 1,5 month to get back my money (and its not over because I still waiting) ! “Be warned don't use Be wiser!”

Back in July 2014, I had a car accident which wasn't my fault and the other party agreed to full liability - I had minor damage to the rear bumper of my car, but the whole situation has been a major headache in dealing with Be Wiser who are only a broker the real company in Quindell! This company cancelled me before due date after paying 600 to them then told me there was nothing they could do they knew I couldn't afford to go else where then fobbed Me off with another policy for 2000 my first policy was 1600 Barrington mind I'd paid 600 already then looking thru emails they had already quoted me 1700 from same company they set me up with for 2000 saying best they can do. “Excellent Customer Service”

It was only few weeks ago that I had to deal with this company at the midnight and I couldn't realised that high amount of compulsory excess amount that they would charge you for each claim however, as soon as when I realised that I requested immediate cancellation and basically they have done this for me. “The worst company I have ever dealt with!”

The car insurance price quoted on their website was by far the best and so I took out and paid in full for the policy. The following day I was contacted by Be Wiser and asked to produce 9, yes, 9 years proof on no claims discount (ncd) even though I had indicated on my online application that I didn’t have any being a company car driver for 30 years. “AVOID BEWISER RIPOFF MERCHANTS”

I took out two policy with Bewiser (I have two vans) I was told there would be a £25 deposit for each policy. I was contacted by email saying "your policy will be cancelled" I rang, they always keep you holding (premium rate) a very long time. They then said I owed them £61.30 and £93.14 respectively. I asked why and was told that if they don't think you can afford the initial deposit they ask for a further sum later. HOW THE HELL do they know what I can & cant afford. Avoid this company like the plague. They are just middle man selling you insurance from others at a premium and they care about nothing but getting your money. I can not believe what I have just been told! I have just sold my car, so cancelled my policy. I followed it up with a phone call to them, to be polite! “This company are a joke”

They pass you from pillar to post, was on the phone for 4hours trying to sort a claim on my policy that never happened so I get penalised by other insurance companies all because of bewiser being so pathetic. Why is it you can never get hold of a manger they are always busy !!! Probably dealing with other complaints I suppose or their sick of dealing with them. got a quote from them about £200 paid by debit card in full had phone call wanting my n.c.b after about six calls got sorted. Well just received a refund from this STS company
27/8/2014 Not £116 that they told me I'd receive but £90.80 out of £262.57 and refused to give next company n.c.b

that's a TOTAL OF £172.37 THE STS HAVE OF SCAMED OFF ME. PLUS ANOTHER £100 FOR N.C.B

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN CALL THEM THAT

I would suggest that you tell BEWISER that you are going to engage the help of the Financial Conducts Authority which will cost them £400 for the privelege. Do it in a recorded Delivery letter and allow them 8 weeks to give a definitive reply.
I had a lucky escape as I was obtaining a quote on their website of £1200, I was called by them offering a massive reduction which was finally less than £300. The call was full of sales pressure and I thought of the saying 'If it seems too good to be true it probably is too good to be true.' I was sent information by e-mail after great insistence as he wanted me to sign up immediately. Needless to say I have insured with another company.
