Took out car insurance with BeWiser end of Jan this year, paid full amount in advance. Sold the vehicle last week( end July) and requested a refund for the remaining amount. I did not expect to get back the full remainder. Shocked when they offered me £76.70 when owed £140.60...what a rip off. Told all details in thier small print.... I insured my car with so called BeWiser in Sept 2013. I have paid my instalments never missed payment till this year june when i didn't have enough funds in my account to cover the payment. I have only 2 instalments left for the year which will give me 2months break until my renewal.l called to make the payment but I was told my insurance has been cancel so i have start a new one. I second that, "be wiser" insurance the worst insurance company I have ever used, I ran up to change my car on my existing policy, which was a much lower insurance group car , and they asked for another £150, so I then asked for a refund, as only had the policy for 2 months! and they offered me only half of what I paid , seriously avoid this company !… Read Full Review

“Terrible Staff Attitude When Getting Car Insurance Quote”

They called me while I was just reviewing my fresh online quote (should have become suspicious at that stage already!) Run through the usual procedure and at the end I was TEMPTED to go with their offer. My policy was up for renewal, had a better cover and price from Hastings Direct. When I phoned Be Wiser to tell them, no problem, and they confirmed that I had 6+ years NCD. Days later I had a letter saying that I had cancelled my policy and had lost my No Claims entitlement. After being a customer for 3 years I did not expect such childish behaviour. Took out van insurance through Money supermarket, with Bewise insurance. Filled out all of the information correctly, checked and doubled checked as one would, before I paid. “Home Insurance”

I took out an home insurance policy via a comparison site, answered all questions and contacted twice by phone all OK! then told they are cancelling cover and told money would be repaid in seven to ten days, twenty days later and still no refund been told might be up to SIXTY DAYS. “Ripoff Administration Charges”

Took out a car insurance policy through BeWiser online, needed to cancel a week later - within the statutary 14 day cooling off period - they charged me over £50 (20% of the whole premium) as a non refundable placement charge! i thought be wise was good cheapest deal i could find. until it came for me to change my car. they wiped my bank out the lady on the phone told me it would cost £71.28 to change it over i asked her 3 times how much it was just to make sure i heard it right but they took £721.28 out of my bank and refused to refund me as that was how much it cost to change it over. they then offered me £150 refund as it was to late to cancel the policy although i only changed it 5 mins before. they then said… Read Full Review

my bank is £600 over due which i will get bank charges on this @ £5 a day. i still have not had a refund. nor have i had an apology surly i should of been offered some kind of compensation. your company is a disgrace.

I have phoned 3 times today the first time I was told they had never heard of him the next two times I was told Rohan Cruz will call me back in 2 mins. 1 hour later still no call.

I finally got to speak to Rohan Cruz and got a refund which took 7 days to refund. I am £35 down due to bank charges @ £5 per day and £70 down due not not being able to get to work. The whole situation has stressed me out. I'm still waiting to hear back from them regarding the phone conversation as i was told they was going to listen to it. Rohan Cruz told me she would email me with the out come by the end of the day and yet i haven't heard from here. Very poor customer service.

Please please please for your own piece of mind and sanity try using another insurance company, my insurance monthly payments started at £60.00 per month, I changed my vehicle for economic purposes smaller engine less fuel consumption, anyway when I called the customer service too advise the of the change I was told it would cost me a further £103.00 for the amendment, I paid immediately which means my monthly payments should have stood at the same said £60.00 per month.
