Bought our Dormeo from a TV shopping channel after watching the hour long prog on it. Was impressed with the way it was being sold to us, especially when the presenter said that there would not be any sagging where you lay giving you a ridge down the middle. Also there is a 15 year guarantee . But after just 6 years there is a ridge down the middle , which is getting bigger to the point that you feel like its pushing you to the edge. we bought dormeo memory xl carbon about 3weeks ago (for our new home). “Terrible Service - delay in delivery”

I ordered a Deluxe Silver Kingsize mattress on 1st January by phone and was told it was in stock. when I chased the order I was told it was out of stock and new stock expected on 24th January. The money has been taken from my account on 1st January. I have since phoned again to be told the stock is now expected on 31st January. Yet each time I have checked on the website it is in stock. I totally agree with this reviewer ordered a 6500 on 31/12/13 and was told that it would be delivered within 5 days of 6th January due to delivery company being on Xmas break til then. Finally arrived on 31/1/14 a whole month after the order. Customer service is deplorable for such a large Company they don't reply to emails and when you speak to them on the phone always blame the carrier but never sort it out I even had to asked them to send me an invoice as I had not received any confirmation of order. In the end as I was so annoyed with the company I returned the mattress and bought one from egoflex who immediately confirmed the order and arranged a delivery date which the kept to. A FAR SUPERIOR COMPANY and the mattress isin my opinion much better and less than half the price

We bought a dormeo 12+2 mattress for the spare room and the Octaspring 6500 king size for our bedroom. the dormeo is very comfortable. The Octaspring is an absolute dream! I was refurbishing a house I had previously let to students and this time decided to let it to some nurses. The beds were old and needed replacing and I wanted to get new ones on, so I was recommended to go Dormeo and after I found their website easy to use I was offered something that met my budget. “Transformed my sleep!”

I have read the reviews, the (+) and the (-)and find myself thinking "you can't please all the people all the time" there are way to many variables in real life to achieve that but my experience in this purchase shown me a product and service back up that is trying to do just that, so well done!! The mattress might be 5 stars when it comes, I believe it is at least a 4 or I would not have ordered it, but the customer service leaves something to be desired. I ordered the 8500 on 3-21-13 and was told I would receive info on my order within 24 hours, so 36 hours or so later I called back and customer service informed me that I had to e-mail them first, that they could not send the info to my e-mail w/o me emailing them. Octaspring was the 4th mattress I have purchased over the past 6 years. I owned a top-of-the-line inner spring bed, solid memory foam, and an air bed, all of which resulted in lousy sleep quality and frequent back pain. We are considering a Dormeo product but having read the above mold issue we are having second thoughts.
We live in Florida, USA which has high humidity. We air condition our home but still have lingering doubts as to the efficacy of the product. What advice do you have for us?

Glad 7 of my family members read this too. We all were going to buy this mattress after watching the infomercial but decided to look up reviews first. No way will we buy this mattress now or want to sleep on something that could turn moldy or if we have a problem with it, customer service is terrible once they get your money. Why guarantee anything if you're not going to follow through and be honest about your product! Looks like they wipe their hands from the problems.. So what they guarantee is 15 years they can laugh at you when they line there pockets. Bad companies like this should be ashamed of themselves its false advertising. Is there a good company you can trust anymore? GEZZ!

I hate to break it to everyone, but without moisture and the right conditions, no material will sprout mold on its own. This is not a defect of the mattress.

How do you know the mold spores weren't in the mattress all along under the cover and just hadn't been discovered yet. I hadn't looked under my memory foam mattress for years because you don't flip them. I've heard stories of returned mattresses being recovered and resold. If there is no mold anywhere else in there home and no source of water or moisture under the bed from where do propose this isolated case of mold appeared? and why only there and not the sides of the bed or top? How do you know the mold spores where not in the mattress already and just continued to grow through the cover, this seems to be a very real possibility and I don't think you can clear the mattress of all defects. Have you ever read the little tag on pillows and toys that says its filled with all new materials, it's there because companies were using not so new fillers and sometimes they were contaminated and caused problems. Unfortunately things do not always happen as we would like, things get recovered and covered up and sometimes people or companies act unethically and we don't get what we pay for even if the tag says we are.

Sorry to tell you, but unless your home is hermetically sealed, the only air source is through a mega HEPA filter, and you have an airlock through which items previously scrubbed are brought in, you have mold spores in your home.

I take it back, even with all that you would still have mold spores in your home. Without moisture, no mold and you can't see spores, either.

It wouldn't be on the top or sides because it needs darkness, warmth and moisture to grow. Someone at some time may have spilled a liquid on the bedside and that's all it would take,

I live in FL a d have huge concerns about mold with the high humidity level...but I would love to find a great mattress and at the store it seemed wonderful!

My husband mentioned this bed and I decided to check it out. If there is one bad review, then there are at least 20-30 that have not been reported. My understanding is this is NOT a regular purchase however until the reviews on the customer service improve, they will not be getting my money. Fix the problem.

I have to say that both me and my husband are in total agreement (for a change!) that the mattress has improved our sleep no end. I ordered from a TV advert in UK that said free memory foam pillows and delivery within 3-5 days. When I placed the order by phone I was told they have 85 in stock and delivery was by parcelforce which was normally next day after dispatch. I received no contact from them apart from a confirmation of order email and a confirmation of dispatch email. I accept this to be a review of poor customer services of Dormeo rather than the product. Fortunately I didn't buy my mattress from the Dormeo company direct so did not have all those problems. Got my mattress in five days of ordering, in perfect condition and I am delighted with it.

A month later we still haven't had a refund and a second payment has been taken from our bank account instead ! I got my mattress 4 days after ordering and it did feel different from my old spring mattress. My wife told me to give it few days and (don't tell her) she was right. It just took a few days getting use to and I love it now. First impressions aren't always true....

we are really pleased with our mattress. it's easy to get upstairs as it arrived vacuum packed althoguh I suppose this is the same with all memory foam mattresses?! we didn't think about getting rid of the old double mattress and assumed dormeo would take it away, unfortunately this isn't possible.
