    I have to travel sometimes for my work and my wife is at school out of province becoming a veterinarian, so I need to use boarding kennels frequently for our two dogs. KennelSeek.com is a really easy site to navigate, you can type in your postal/zip code and get a listing of kennels near that postal/zip code. There are about 1600 listings on the website so wherever you are you can usually find boarding kennels near you. The service is free to pet owners and you don't have to register or become a member. Also for a select few listings at the moment you can book online with the boarding kennel which is very convenient because it can be hard sometimes to get boarding kennels on the phone when you need them.
