I thought Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid was very good value for money. I think it cost me around £6, and it has lasted for about 6 months. For me, a good point (other than the price) was that you only have to use the tiniest bit - a little goes a long way, meaning it's really easy to put it on, and you never get tide marks around the jawline or hairline. It also smells nice which is always a bonus. It gives me great coverage, and a nice even skin tone. The bad points I can say are that it... (read more)

Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation was the first foundation that I have ever bought. Usually I'd just put a bit of concealer under my eyes, over any blemishes and then go over that with powder. So I've almost always steered clear away from foundation. Always because of the fear of becoming part of the 'orange girl' clan.
