    This wrong hotel in the worst part of the resort which in itself was overcommercialized.Luckily we were only at Perla Hotel on Bed and breakfast as the food was barely edible and the dining room was like a badly run school canteen.The air conditioning in the room did not do its job and the lifts were temperamental which was no fun when we regularly had to walk up 5 floors. Golden sands was more suitable to the 18-30 age group especially the end we were staying. It was slightly better at the other end of the resort near the harbour. Overall this was the worst holidays we have been on in the past 12 years.

    The Perla Hotel for us was located at the wrong end of the resort being near the hub of noisy bars and restaurants. It is also situated at the back of Golden sands up a hill and 20 minutes walk back from the beach. The rooms are excellent comfortable with air conditioning and a first class shower. We went on half board at the food was not very appetizing in look or taste. During our visit the hotel was inundated with school parties which obviously created a lot of noise and activity.
