“Never Again!”

Written on: 14/10/2014 by K.JS (1 review written)

So where to begin...we recieved tickets for the X Factor results show on Sunday 12th October 2014. Having read the ticket i question whether i wanted to attend given that we were not guaranteed entry. However, we thought if we got ther in advance it may be fun...WRONG! Firstly the ticket asks everyone to dress to impress, think glitter and red carpet...so we did! Therefore you can imagine my horror when the rest of the queue are in trainers, jeans ect. Dont get me wrong, i didnt turn up in a… Read Full Review

“Brilliant!!! X Factor Bootcamp 2014 Wembley Arena”

Written on: 11/08/2014 by Benjamaker (1 review written)

I have applied for quite a few tickets through applause store, never been lucky enough to receive any. Last week I received an Email to say I had been allocated 3 tickets. These however would not guarantee entry, having looked at the reviews on here, I toyed with whether to bother going...my daughter is a massive fan, so in the end we decided we would go, with the knowledge we may not get in. We took a coolbag with provisions, change of clothes and were very prepared to sit it out for hours… Read Full Review

“Fine as a Priority ticket holder only”

Written on: 28/06/2014 by tvshowgoer (1 review written)

Went to see Virtually Famous last night (27/6) at the Riverside Studios in Hammersmith. As a priority ticket holder who turned up by the time I was told to arrive I had no problem getting in and the show was a welcome bit of light hearted fun. Personally I also had no problem with any Applause Store staff, they were all very friendly and helpful, both inside and outside the studio and when I'd emailed applause store the week before asking if my general tickets could be upgraded to priority (as… Read Full Review

“The worst experience ever - million pound drop”

Written on: 23/06/2014

I had 4 priority tickets to the million pound drop after recieving an email saying we would be joined by celebrity guests we were so excited. Our showing was the second of three. We arrived at 1:45 to be split into different questions at 2pm so waste of Time for those waiting from early as people pushed to the front. Our show was meant to be at 2:45 but didn't enter a building till 3pm where we had to que again to leave all of our belongings. We then felt like sheep being herd into half of the… Read Full Review

“BGT Final Tickets 2014”

Written on: 09/06/2014 by Brooklynr389 (1 review written)

I received 4 general tickets for the BGT final at the fountain studios in Wembley for Sat 7th June. We knew the tickets didn't guarantee us entry, but the doors opened at 5pm, so when we got there at 11.30am and there was only about 40 people in the queue I thought we'd have a good chance. Applause Store staff came along the queue at 4pm and gave us all wrist bands and said they would be back to let us know if/when we'd go in. Two staff members came out every so often, but were very vague about… Read Full Review

“BRITAINS GOT TALENT FINAL tickets”

Written on: 09/06/2014 by applauseisajoke (1 review written)

If you get general e-tickets for this show or any other big show like it DONT BOTHER GOING!!!!. As we were travelling down from the Midlands decided to get there early to avoid dissapointment. The train was delayed so did arrive slightly later than planned but still were there at 11.45 for 7.oopm start. when we arrived there were approx 40 people in front of us so was quite confident of getting in. At about 4.30 the applause staff checked our tickets and gave us all wrist bands and sent quite… Read Full Review

Yep...I agree, we arrived at the same time, staff were unhelpful, vague and to not know how many seats they had free was ridiculous! To let only 10 people in was just the last straw!....WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY....DON'T USE THE APPLAUSE STORE!!!!

“Britains Got Talent Final”

Written on: 07/06/2014 by Semajz363 (1 review written)

We fully understood that we were never guaranteed to get seats for the Britain's got talent final but we are appauled with the way we have been treated today. We arrived just before 12 to join the queue that was shorter than we expected. We waited until 4 for a woman and man from the applause store to talk to us and they mentioned that we had to wait for 3 more hours to know whether we were able to get into the audience or not. These members of staff were extremely rude throughout the day as… Read Full Review

I agree, we were treated without any respect what so ever. I understood we may not have got into the studio, but the information we were given was very vague and I agree the staff were quite rude. They must have known how many spare seats were left!

“Complete lack of organisation!”

Written on: 28/05/2014 by 377Rogers (1 review written)

So got general tickets for BGT semi finals, having travelled by train to get there early, when we arrived there at 4 there was a queue starting to form in the general ticket queue so we joined it (gates weren't opening until 6.45). Two and 3/4 hours stood in the cold and rain and very little communication was being given just a couple of ushers walking up the queue on a few occasions with a clicker counting how many people were in the queue. 6.45 comes round and priority tickets start being let… Read Full Review

“VERY DISAPPOINTED. WASTED A LOT OF MONEY!”

Written on: 17/04/2014 by edKirby390 (1 review written)

We were excited to get free Applause Store audience tickets to see the Alan Davies chat show at the riverside studios. We had read all the information about over allocation of tickets so I rang them as travelling from Brighton and they said to come 1 hour early as only seats 150 people. We arrived 1 hour before doors open and waited for 2 hours to find we were 5 people back from the last ones let in. It was crazy and there were about 200 people behind us! Why did they allocate 350 tickets for… Read Full Review

“THINK CAREFULLY YOU CAN BE EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED”

Written on: 23/03/2014 by joannehannon (1 review written)

We were excited to get free Applause Store audience tickets to the Elaine Paige Show Recording at Riverside Studios in Hammersmith on Sunday 23rd March. It was the first time we had been lucky. Applause give you all the information, please read it carefully and don't make the mistake to think you will be alright and get in as we did. We went in the car and as always it is not easy driving to and around London. We got there early and luckily managed to park nearby. I was extremely surprised to… Read Full Review

We got there about an hour early. The priority ticket holders queued on the other side to us and that was a long queue. They probably filled most of the studio before anyone else was let in. Maybe if you live in London and you only have to get tubes and are prepared that you may not get in its worth the risk. They over allocate the free tickets and I assume everyone must have turned up as it was Elaine Paige Recording Show.

Having read other reviews it looks like you have to get there early.

I have been trying for X-factor for a long time but I am not going to bother any more.

I have decided I'd rather pay for tickets than have free tickets with come with hassle.

“Worst Company Ever For Free Tickets - Use SRO”

Written on: 18/03/2014 by uuMcMahon1950 (1 review written)

I'm no newcomer to sites like Applause having used SRO, BBC and others for years. Applause Store are AWFUL in comparison to the above with both their organisation and their customer service skills. Their staff are rude and very rarely actually have any idea on what is going on because communication is incredibly poor. Their staff treat the audience like rubbish, look down on them and I've heard them commenting negatively about audience members (even going as far as to laugh at disabled… Read Full Review

“X-Factor Finals”

Written on: 18/12/2013 by Danz1234 (1 review written)

We arrived early expecting to have queue for ages for tickets to the final on Sunday. After reading so many bad review we were pleasantly surprised when we only had to queue for an hour before receiving our tickets and being free to enjoy a day out in Wembley. We had a fantastic time with a great view of the stage and will definitely be applying for tickets again… Read Full Review

“Not nearly enough spaces for tickets given”

Written on: 15/12/2013

After travelling for 3 hours we arrived 2 hours early for X Factor final and didn't have a chance of getting in. The ushers were shouting " you have zero chance of getting in as we have too many people here already!" After finding a parking space in Wembley as well. We had to return straight back to the car. There were hundreds, possibly thousands more people being turned away. It was disgusting. Obviously thousands more tickets were issued than spaces. Unless you want to stand for 10… Read Full Review

“Forget It”

Written on: 07/08/2013 by tracktamer (1 review written)

Having been on applause store list for a long time now- I have still not been offered any tickets to a single show!!! I have applied for Top Gear for almost 10 years on the run and never a single sniff of a ticket. Yet did find some on a popular auction site for sale, and when I asked the seller how he came about them he told me that he gets them every week and usually just gives them away!!!!!! Sort yourselves out A.S. The only way to get tickets is from this useless, unfair crew? WHY… Read Full Review

“XFACTOR”

Written on: 18/07/2013

I got audience tickets for yesterday's London Auditions. After reading some of these reviews I nearly didn't go as its a 200 mile journey. We got there just after 6am for doors opening at 10.00. We didn't know where to go so joined a small queue of about ten people who said that they all had priority tickets. At 8.00am the staff came and asked did everyone have priority tickets, when I said we hadn't they told me to join the queue at the front of the Arena. Fortunately someone in the queue had… Read Full Review

Went to the new series of Ducks quacks don't echo with Lee Mack at Pinewood studios 18th June. Doors open at 18.45 - 1915 please do not be late. We finished work early (lost money) 3.30pm and left Oxford and drove to Pinewood (cost money) unbeknown to us, we were already to late. When we finally arrived, we were turned away with an explanation, should have been here at least 3 - 4 hours ago. “Terrible service and treat customers poorly”

Written on: 02/06/2013 by pandacommander (1 review written)

You can turn up to one of their shows more than an hour before the doors supposedly open and still get turned away. If you want to have even a slight chance of getting in to the more popular shows, I would turn up AT LEAST 2 hours beforehand if not more. Even then you will have to queue for an extra hour to be seated. What I think is the worst thing about them is, although its understandable they oversubscribe tickets, but they do so by at least double I think which is playing it too… Read Full Review
