The Importance of Being Emma by Juliet Archer. Paperback Chick lit/Romance novel. Available from most online retailers and form publisher www.choc-lit.co.uk
I loved this book and have added it to my top 10 reads! I love the author's writing sytle, it's extremely well written and a pure joy to read. Juliet Archer really is a modern Jane Austen and this story is a modern take on 'Emma' - with twists!
It starts with modern Emma and Mark meeting, for the first time since her teenage crush, in the board room - as she is climbing up on the windowsill to kill a wasp! The book follows their business and personal relationship, as they struggle to ignore the instant attraction and chemistry between them. This book will have you laughing out loud and also wanting to shake them both as you get involved with the characters!
I can't recommend this book enough!
