Good Points: None.
Bad Points: NOT what is sold. Not 5 bedrooms unless you considered two adjoining rooms with no seperation to be 2 bedrooms. It contains an annexe which is very spartan and has a sofa bed. (presumably in their minds bedroom 5 if the upstairs room is considered two room)It does not have most of the facilities listed on the web site. There are a number of exposed wiring issues throughout the house that have not been addressed. There is NO games room with any games (they were removed ) - there is a damp smelling basement with a floor, ceiling and 4 walls with numerous lighting switches exposed but no games. It was not clean when we arrived and had not been cleaned properly for some time.
General comments: Villa Sonibel is sold through an agent (Spoilt4Choice) and promises to be a 5 bedroomed villa, furnished to a very high standard throughout. It is neither of these things. It has 3 main bedrooms (another room off the upstairs bedroom has a single bed, no door and no curtains and is the size of a tiny office). It has another bedroom in an annexe (not mentioned in the advertising) that is according to their own representative "suitable for backpackers".Upon arrival the entire place was filthy and required a team of cleaners to come the next day and do a deep clean (including trying to rid the main bedroom of the smell of damp with ammonia). The pool was not the cleanest and unuseable for the first few days and most of the appliances did not work or in the case of the "games room" actually did not even EXIST.It has no useable BBQ (as stated in advertising), it has no SKY TV (as stated in advertising) and it has a number of exposed wiring points where the owner has removed lights for paintings (as well as the paintings) as the property is up for sale.In short it is NOT the property that exists on the web site.Spoilt4Choice have a responsibility for this site, yet during our intial discussions on the rights and wrongs of the place, deflection was made to the owner as it seemed to be her/him that had diminished the property. This did not seem to stop Spoilt4Choice from selling the property nor for taking our money (a lot of it). Their representatives out there were unhelpful and communication between them seemed to be a problem as no-one knew what anyone else was doing (we were shown round by a chap - who pointed out everything that didnt work). In short this property is far from what it seems and our holiday at Villa Sonibel was frankly a complete let down.
