to put it striaght A38 DIRECT CARS are not to trusted and i am absolutely suprised the have a lincense to do business in a country like England.i had to take them to court for them to deal with a faulty car they sold to me.
i found out three days after i bought the car the water tank was linking and wen i took it 2 a garrage for a diagnose i was told the headgasket had failed.i phoned i A38 to get them to deal with it, they just kept tossing me arround for about 4months.i called trading standard ...

The car they sold me had been clocked, when i phoned them some days later they would not discuss the matter, no refund and said their legal team would be in touch, never heared from them again, reported to Trading Standards who have numerous cases open against these cowboys! BE WARNED! See you in court fellows!

i wish i had checked this out before i went there, again got sold a duff car..... warranty which i paid extra for isn't worth a thing. called repeatedly to no avail never return calls and in the 5 weeks i've owned the vehicle i have spent £1463.00 so far and it's still not working. If there is any justice in this world trading standards will close this cowboys garage down for good before one of their cars kills somebody. take my advice i would rather walk than buy a car from these con arti ...

wished we never brought a car from them. on first meeting seem very genuine unfortunately this is not the case.be prepared to be lied to we never even got log book etc even after promising to post on.The car is not fit to drive and needs money spent as for warranty they seem to always have a get out clause,and we are unable to drive the car to them so they do not want to know.If i had read reviews first i would not have gone near them please be warned you will be left frustated and annoyed i hav ...

After reading these reviews I felt I needed to add mine....we have had a horrfic experience with A38 Direct Cars...as above unless you are spending alot of money they do not want to cough up refunds for cars they sell and cannot fix...in all fairness they have tried (using scrap parts) eventually replacing one new after a 2nd attempt and lending me a car in the meantime..(which apparently they don't have to do)however, I am stuck with a car that still isn't working. Buying the car was brilliant, great guys, really helpful happy I found exactly what I was after however, soon turned into a nightmare with repeated calls not returned, unreliable info, promises not upheld, and so on and I am still going through it all to this day - my advice is unless you have £50k to spend - this may not be the place for you...doesn't seem to bother them one bit that you are stuck with a lemon after they have their money!!!

Bought a Fiat Punto 04 plate, got a good deal on my px. Found it hard to fault them. A38 Direct Cars salesman was a little lacking in knowledge but he had just started but found it as easy as going to Asda.

Had good service from A38 Direct Cars, found the car I wanted on there website. Traveled 70miles to be told it had just been sold, however they sourced me another like for like some days later,and I'm a very happy customer and even had the car delivered. Found it hard to get through to them as there lines are always busy.

Bought a BMW 320D, from A38 Direct, had good service, enjoyed the experiance and got the car loads cheaper than anywhere else. I would go here again for my wifes car.

After first reading the reviews on this dealership i was unsure. But fortunatly for me the car was everthing i wanted so i had to go see it.Upon viewing of the vehicle i was impressed with the size of the garage and the facilities available i got a great finance rate and could not be happier with the salesman down to the valet.. i bought my car on the 18th august & would go back in a year or so with confidence, if i wanted a change!! Can you believe I feel compelled to write this and I didn;t even get the car!!
Travelled 120 miles to buy the car, agreed to at screen price got finance passed then drove hom to the promise of phone call and arrangements follwoing day. No phone call, I called with promise of faxed documents. Never came I phoned next day and same promise and so on till 4th day when they still never called back, in end they promised to sort the sale out by 7pm and promised a call no we actually had to call about 5 ...

Having read the other negative review on this site I felt I had to write to support it. Quite simply if I could rewind things to the point that I hadn't set foot in that place I would. On my first visit to A38 Direct Cars they could not be more helpful, and yes I totally agree, I felt I had met a really good bunch of salesmen. I had a really bad experience with A38 Direct Cars.
