Had my haircut on Saturday i didn't have a appointment but they made me feel very welcome whilst i waited for a space. Great haircut lovely atmosphere and very fancy cup and saucers, will be coming back in 6 weeks now I've found my new hairdressers. (read more)

“grandaughter very upset”

I treated my granddaughter to a visit to my hairdresser which I have up till recently been very happy with,but I have to say disappointed on last two visits. She was booked in to have wash,cut and dry,she was there just under 30 minutes and had wash and cut,no attempt to dry her hair,they just assumed that what she got was was she wanted she is eleven years old and should have been consulted and asked if what she ended up with was what she wanted she was very disappointed and upset needless... I came to Vinegar Hill upon a friends recommendation and after struggling to find time to travel 40m to my usual hairdresser. What a huge mistake I made. I advised when I went in that I am growing my hair for my wedding in 9m and that I wanted as little as possible off the length with a trim to tidy it up. Went on with my daughter every one was telling me what a great hairdressers this was thought we would give it a try never again I got a man and my daughter got a girl I knew as soon as he started to cut my hair it was going to be wrong all wrong I'm not good at complaining so he just carried on all I wanted to do was cry however my daughters was good lucky for her I cried for two days and had it done again at another salon and. “fabulous friendly staff”

After reading some of the reviews was a little apprehensive. Today I can honestly say that I didn't just have my hair cut I had a really fun time. The staff starting with Paul really made me feel comfortable and the head massage was soooooooooooo relaxing. I was then introduced to Rebecca (stylist) and she really listened to what I wanted and gave advice but not so that I felt as though I didn't have a say. “Closed when I got there for appointment”

Made an appointment 3 weeks in advance for 4pm on a fri reaqdy for a 30th party and my daughters party on the sunday. Left work early and sat in 30 minns of traffic to get there to find it closed with no phone call or attempt to contact me to cancel my appointment. Left on a fri eve with bad hair for 2 parties. Very annoyed and not even the facillity to leave and answer machine message! Probably for the best. (read more)

Had hair done last week at Viniger Hill was recomended by a friend,after i had been to toni&guy and was very unhappy with cut i had done there as was nothing like what i had asked for.Was nervous going somewhere new ,the girls were very polite and made me feel relaxed,even thoe they where very busy,(i would worry if they wasnt busy).The shop is beautifully decorated and has a shabby chic style to it.The lady who cut my hair listend to me and unerstood exactly what i wanted ,i am very pleased... “I always went to a "posh" hairdresser believing that...”

I always went to a "posh" hairdresser believing that if I paid more I'd get better but was increasingly disappointed as they did what they wanted not what I asked for. Vinegar hill was recommended to me and I haven't looked back since. Great value for money, friendly staff (rather than feeling they were doing me a favour) and above all a haircut to be proud of. extremely disappointed, did not listen to what i wanted, came away feeling upset and frustrated and £40 lighter, would not ever go back and would certainly not reccommend vinegar hill hair to anyone else. (read more)

Was rushed through and to be honesty i'm glad i don't have to go back. They are busy talking to clients that are friends to want to know what you want. Misleading website claiming you get more than you actually do. Poor customer service in my opinion for something that is supposed to be relaxing. Main part of Vinegar Hill Hair looked nice on first inmpressions but the longer you stay the more you notice the patches of unpainted wall and the scraps of wallpaper stuck to an old chest of...
