Megaro Restaurant was discovered by my partner and myself while out for the day in London.
Checking out their menu outside the building I was struck by it's plainess and was not going to go in. However hunger got the better of us and we entered.
The stairs was daunting on my high heels and would imagine a fall would be disastrous and certainly not to be attemped should one be inebriated.
We were met by friendly staff and shown to our table.
I was struck by the Male influence in it's interior decor, however, it was very modern and clean.
Gazing over the menu I was struck again by it's plainess in terms of it's content. Although I was hopeful of a good meal, I was not expectant.
However, after placing our order and enjoying a glass of their House Wine, we settled back and waited.
It wasnt long before we were attended with some nibbles while we waited for our main meal (We are not Starters/Desert people).
The food was brought to our table in good time. Mine was Belly of Pork with cabbage and potatoes and my Partner's was a good Steak
We tucked in. The combination of tastes was a revelation and made a rather dull dish into a Gourmet treat. Every mouthfull was delicious.
We were very happy with our choices and I have to say, very satisfied.
When a meal is created with love, that love is carried in the food to the diner. This is the reason why we feel happy after consuming such a meal.
I will definately go back there again
