    I'm a city girl and visited Headquarters while on holiday and got a really great hair makeover after a very expensive and disappointingly fuddy duddy cut at Nikki Clarks. I went in with an open mind and said I just want a complete change. I got a really in depth consultation, colours which wowed and a great cut which just fell into place whenever I did it myself - got really great comments on it at work afterwards. Yeah they may not be a £2m shopfitting salon amd there was a mix of people in but I was surprised by the skill,creativity and professionalism in such a location. And I didn't pay £2m shopfitting price so it was great value. Guess it depends what you want.... city chic shopfittings or experienced hairdressers who clearly know how to be creative if you let them. They used all the same techniques but with a much better result. I'd recommend you give it a go. I go whenever I'm in Keswick - in fact I make the trip whenever I need a hair appointment now.

    I and other friends have been clients of Headquarters for several years. Having lived in London and Birmingham, it was a joy to find a hairdresser who actually styled my hair how I wanted it. Previous stylists ask the right questions, then proceed to do what they like, charge you an inflated price, and you end up coming home and starting again.
    I regularly have my hair cut and coloured. I have a modern style and I think the salon is excellent value for money. Everyone is always very welcoming ...

    im a young woman and get my hair done in a modern way in headquarters and have never had any problems,i am always more than happy when i leave! the price is very reasonable,alot cheaper than other salons in keswick.i would recomend it to anybody.

    I have been a customer for many years at this salon, along with most of my family,and friends, there has never been any complaints from anyone, the client base is very large, and although they give local people priority, we sometimes have to waite a while to be booked. And sometimes it is the fault of a customer being late that causes the problem.
    At the disgust of this review, I can only say please visit the salon again, and tell them in person, exactly what was the problem. And why did you not ...

    Never normally write reviews but this salon is just terrible, my appointment with Headquarters was delayed by nearly an hour and then paid quite a lot of money for very little difference. Had to go to another local salon to get it done much, much better. Its very old fashioned trying to be modern - dont go unless you want a perm, blowdry and a purple rinse!!!
