It seems that Apple released 3GS because they forgot to put a GPS receiver on the 3G version?? Quite absurd if you'll ask me.
If you have the 3G version, you don't have to buy the 3GS version anymore. Aside from the built-in GPS receiver, apple added some apps. to compensate for its hefty price.

I got the latest Apple iPhone 3GS delivered recently. Great product.

Works a lot quicker than the older model. The new Compass feature intergrated into Google Maps is a really easy to use.

Have played a few games I downloaded off the App Store. Its a great experience. The battery life is not that great to be honest, but can't complain as the USB charger comes in really handy.

Overall great phone. A bit overpriced, else would have rated it 5 stars.

I am afraid that I am going to be in the minority but I hate this Apple iPhone 3GS. It looks good, there are loads of apps on it that are really cool but for the really basic things, I found it sadly lacking and have returned it.

02 network coverage left a LOT to be desired, lots of dropped calls, failure to ring out and no network coverage in some areas. Poor camera compared to Samsung i8910 for example. No separate folders for received/sent/draft messages all lumped together, no delivery repo ...

I have last week picked up an iPhone 3GS. I was surprised by the quality of the device. The iPhone 3GS is a lot faster in-terms of accessing data over the internet compared to the last edition of the device.

The Iphone is in my opinion the worst phone on the market, not for the phone itself which although a little average (Camera, Screen Res etc..) is on the higher end of most specs, However the fact that it costs three to four times the amount of a much better phone means it's value for money is practically 0.

As soon as I get a chance I am going back to HTC where the phones were just as good or better but cost a fraction of the price.

The Iphone is only for you if you care about nothing but Bra ...

    Pro's
The iPhone 3GS is even more a dream to use than previous iPhones. It's much faster to use when using applications. The 3G download speeds are very fast. The video capture is excellent - 30 frames per second so it's very smooth. The other 3GS exclusive features I haven't tried yet, such as the voice activated commands and the voice memo.

    Con's
Most of the big improvements come from the iPhone 3.0 software which is also available on the iPhone 3G.

The battery life is better but stil ...

Having bought the original iphone and the 3G, it was inevitable I would buy the 3GS. Initially, it seemed that other than the talk about the improved processor speed and the video functionality, the main improvements were attributable to the 3.0 software update. Having now owned the 3GS, I can happily say that there are significant differences between the 2 iphones. The most noticeable is the speed and this is most obvious when using the web browser, it's just so much quicker and loads web pages ...

I have long been a hater of the iPhone for so many reasons. Non replaceable battery, no copy and paste, no keyboard, no bluetooth file sharing. I could go on but I won't.I finally gave in an bought one, and I have to say that it is pretty much one of the best phones out there at the moment. It is truly amazing how easy it is to browse and deal with e-mail. Most of the improvements on this device are actually to do with the 3.0 software rather than the device itself.Another interesting points abo ...
