'The Prophet' is the most wonderous book in brevity that encompasses every metaphysical aspect of life Path to peace is acheived by letting go, it guides you in a subtle manner of the art of letting go without intense practise of meditation.

This book is timeless. The beautiful universality of his spirit and his unrivalled understanding of life and beauty is a gift for the ages. If only the world leaders and their followers would read and apply Gibran's philosophy, they would rise up, activate themselves and make this world a better place to live.- Read Marg King's review (53 words)

Ever thought about love, death, having children, working, wealth and what life is about? Here is a visionary and timeless poem that shows the essence of these and many other issues with the use of rich and apt images. It is my favourite book and one I dip into when I'm struggling with something. The section on love is particularly well known and often read out at weddings and funerals.- Read stellabelle's review (94 words)
