Good Points: Riding position is excellent - and has a comfortable saddle. The headlights / taillights and indicators, are large and well illuminated. Acceleration is acceptable, (Avoid Sports Cars / Young Boy Racers and Real Motorbikes); You can catch them up later, as the 125i is slim enough, to thread itself through major traffic jams.

Bad Points: Sidelights are posy, but useless at night. The 2500 mile (limitation) servicing is very costly, particularly if you are doing loads of miles on a day by day basis. The petrol tank capacity is poor, especially if you wish to go for a "Day Out" with your mates.

General comments: The Honda 125(i) is quicker than most scooters in its class, as the (i) stands for fuel injection. According to Honda the 125i can do at least 80mph - My local dealer suggests, it can do at least 70mph. My 125(i) can do 65mph + : But it does take its time to get there. It might just be me, but whilst you are riding in an erect fashion (Sitting straight up), going past 50mph is like hitting your head against a brick wall. I wonder if the optional windscreen, counters this effect? You have to service the 125i at every 2500 miles (recommended) and in the UK its about £90. As I do (daily) short journeys (1-8 miles), I am not certain what the best speed is, to make the most of the limited fuel load. Comments to this site would be appreciated.
