Didn't fulfill delivery promise of next day delivery. After being told & understanding it's not good when I have paid for it they were still not prepared to refund a charge in reflecting this. I believe my contract was with the company not the carrier which they blamed & in turn this has left me with feeling that the customer service is also not first class.

Although I would have bought the lawnmaster 500 golf had it been in stock, I bought the 660 sport instead. Although it is larger in size I can still manage it around obstacles in my garden with ease and I am very satisfied with my mower. It does a very good job and appears to be a sturdy reliable construction. It catches all the grass in a big metal grass collector. Very satisfied.

I originally ordered a Hayter which refused to run properly. I strongly suspect it was dropped from the delivery vehicle when delivered. Calls to Lawnmower Direct for help took too long to assist. We agreed to return machine and I ordered a Honda. This was dealt with well and the new Honda has been a delight.

Arrived without manual Could not get a replacement manual and none on line

The product was well priced and as described. However the product was just sent through the post without any additional packaging. The product was slightly damaged and I ordered a lubricant spray that was just placed in the product's box without being secured. The lubricant spray therefore hit against the product whenever it was moved! It arrived bashed and dented and hopefully it will work when I come to use it!

The website was excellent, polite staff on the phone. After sales appauling, I placed the order on 23/05/13 and was informed that my order would be delivered in two days as the product was in stock, however the next morning i was informed by e-mail that there had been a mistake and that they had run out and my lawn mower would arrive the next week. After this i e-mailed a week later 30/05/13 to ask for an update on the order i received no reply. So this morning 03/06/13 i called for an update to which i was informed that my ordered had been dispatched. Why am i doing the chasing of an order which had been payed for when customer services should be keeping me informed?

The Hayter Spirit 41 Push rear roller lawnmower has great reviews and appeared to meet my needs. Lawnmowers Direct seemed to have good reviews and I placed my order. Delivery couldn't be faulted and arrived within the time frame promised. However, the box had obviously been opened and re-sealed with tape, the mower smelt of petrol and the rear roller axle was broken! I immediately complained. A new mower was dispatched at once and arrived within a few days in a brand new unopened box (an all together different experience!)and the faulty item taken away. Despite critical comments from the Courier about the Hayter, it has so far lived up to it's reviews and the Hayter Spirit is everything that you could require of a lawnmower. However, my issue is that I queried the possibility of a mistake by Lawnmowers Direct in sending me a previously returned item and I got no response or apology! Disappointed in not receiving further feedback!

I can offer only limited feedback since the weather has prevented me using the item thus far. All I can say is that it arrived on time, properly packaged and as described. I look forward to having the opportunity to use it.
