Good Points: Bullet proof driveline and when fitted with larger exhaust power increased and no more rattles.
Bad Points: No Airbags or ABS available and Toyota service did poor work on several occasions and expensive to service but no problems with the vehicle.
General comments: The Toyota Landcruiser 79 Series 4.2 Turbo Diesel is reliable with over 100k on it no mechanical issues aside from exhaust rattle. Vehicle works every day and just keeps going.
