After deciding on what car and spec I wanted and armed with my local dealership price I decided to surf the internet to compare prices when I came across Autofinders Bakewell and discovered I could save myself £1000s by purchasing my car from them direct. I read the terms and conditions several times and after a phone call to the office to put at ease my concerns at ordering a car via the internet I learnt the whole process from start to finish was no different than placing the order from my local dealership so went ahead and paid my deposit. I have since received my new Megane Coupe as the spec ordered by trailer away up in the North East of Scotland with no problems!!.. There are a lot of web sites offering cars with huge discounts and what I would say is shop wisely, do your homework, never pay for a car upfront or do as I did and purchase it from Autofinders who are genuine .

I recently purchased a car through Autofinders (Bakewell) Limited on the basis of its 'Derbyshire County Council Trusted Trader' status and have had nothing but delays, lack of communication and a very rude and arrogant boss to deal with when complaining.

In summary:

Time for a New Mazda Mx5, Id already decided not to go to a dealer and pay their heavy prices (even after the mean discounts offered) but instead to research the internet and see what other ways of purchasing my new car were available. I collected my Fiat Punto Dynamic from Autofinders, Bakewell, at the beginning of October, when I also part-exchanged my car with them. They would have delivered my new car and collected my old car from my home address, but I wanted to drive it with as few miles as possible on the clock, though was slightly disappointed that it already had over 100 miles on the clock when I received it.

Me and my wife have just took delivery of a new Audi A3 purchased from autofinders bakewell. We saved over £2500 on the list price and they got us the car within 5 days!!! I took my quote to my Audi dealer who told me it couldnt be done and that the car would never turn up. We took the car to show him yesterday!! All in all we cannot praise enough the level of service, tyhe price and how prompt and proffesional everyone was there. We have allready reccomended them to our friends.

No matter who you speak with you're immediately a person rather than just somebody at the other end of the net. Having taken lots of a factors into account before proceeding with a purchase via a website, I would recommend Autofinders to anyone, their service was first class the entire way through. And even once the vehicle was delivered they still had time to take my calls and help me on something some may have considered really stupid.... my complete lack of knowledge!

I've just bought a Toyota Yaris from Autofinders my first experience of buying through a broker. The experience was a good one, I got what I expected and Autofinders did what they said they would do. It was a straightforward transaction with no problems.
My advice to others would be to know exactly what you are buying, ask all your questions before you part with money.
Do not make assumptions and then start whining on this kind of site when you find out something untoward that you could easily h ...

this is quite a story - 10/10 from a car dealer! can this be right??

normally I wouldn't entertain buying a car online. However, when my buddy recommended the team I thought I would take a look. I am sooo glad I did - it was the best experience I have ever had buying a car and a cracking deal too!

My car was in perfect condition, I came to view it (before paying)at his delightful offices and the team welcomed my wife and I like long lost friends.

Ordered my Skoda Octavia vRS tdi through Autofinders after reading several recommendations on websites like Honest John and Autotrader. They managed to beat my local dealer price considerably, and also were able to price up the long list of options that I had in mind for the car!
