I wanted to use them because having checked out the competition, they were offering the best price for my old phone. After filling in the form on the website, I got a pop up window assuring me that they had dispatched the Freepost envelope and a confirmation email was on its way. Nothing arrived. After a week or so, I tried emailing them - No reply After another week I started from scratch and filled in the webform again - Once again I was assured a Freepost envelope and an email were… Read Full Review

I sent off my Iphone for a promised £210 by special delivery on 11th June and am still waiting for money. The site still states that they have not received the phone. Phone Buyer have no phone number to chase and do not reply to any e-mail. Royal Mail have investigated and have a Mr D White collecting it on CCTV and have sent me a copy of his signature!! Royal Mail state they have a large number of cases involving the same person - but as they (Royal Mail) have completed delivery, it is… Read Full Review

We have also had a bad experience - we are still waiting for payment of £93 nearly 2 months after sending the phone. We have provided them with 2 sets of account details as they said our banks (Barclays and First Direct) weren't accepting the BACs payments and now they say they will send a cheque.
We have had to chase for info at every stage and I don't believe a cheque will be sent.
If you have issues with this company, report them to Trading Standards - I've done this today and they advise… Read Full Review

THESE PEOPLE ARE S**T! DO NOT USE THEM! STAY AWAY!!! THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!! Time wasters! I sent off my phone to them and they messed me around for months. They quoted me 110 pounds and once they got the phone they said they will only give me 75 pounds. There was nothing wrong with the phone. It was brand new and they couldn't give a me reason why they put the price down. I told them to send my phone back. For months they said they would send it back. I got fed up and told them… Read Full Review

Despite having proof of postage, they have never paid and have not responded to emails. Please beware of this unscrupulous provider- the reviews are there for a reason!!! And if anyone has any idea of how to get your money back- let me know!!!! Very simply wish I'd read the reports before I sent my phone off- they offer higher prices and are quick to send you the postage paid bag, but that's the last you'll hear of them!… Read Full Review

Good service, kept in touch via email all the way. Best price, freepost service, my new phone was not listed but emailed with request for price which was received day or sao later. Traded that in too as it was new and nobody else seemed to offer different price for new, boxed handset. There is no phone number but emails update you with progress then payment arrived in my account after five days or so. No problems. However if you like to speak on the phone then its not for you as they are online… Read Full Review

I have just used mobilephonebuyer.net and thought they were great. I sent my phone off using a jiffy bag they sent me with the address already printed onto the jiffy bag so all I had to do was put the phone into the bag with the paperwork. The next day I receive an email informing me that they had received the phone and two days after that money was in my account. That is what I call service!! I have found another 4 phones in the house that are not being used which is going to make me… Read Full Review

SCAM!! They appear to be legit and even went as far as confirming receipt of the phones, but NO PAYMENT ever came through, and now they will not reply to emails.
There is NO CONTACT NUMBER on the site, so there's no way to get hold of anyone to get an explanation. I will be reporting them.

Sent off in Jan - received by them 06/01/2010 and states ok on their website - nearly new so condition was pristine!
No contact phone on their site
Sent 4 emails and submitted a form on their site but no answer as yet
NOw emailed email@example.com as per an earlier review but will see what happens
Bad feeling about this company - why do they not communicate unless they are just pulling scams? - recommended on moneysavingexpert.com site as well...
