We bought a silentnight Miracoil Bellini mattress in 2008, it was old stock but brand new and felt firm comfy and supportive, although it was quite expensive, because it was old stock we got quite a good deal, Weve had it 4 years and it is now defective and unfit for purpose, Both sides have collapsed so its like sleeping on a speed bump, I would love to leave photos on here for all to see but can't, hopefully I shall find another review site to post the pictures We contacted... sagged at the side after 6 months - even after following instructions. We reverted back to our old matress (15 years old ) i will never buy or recommend silentnight again. Real shame. Also the guarantee means nothing. Please steer clear. (read more)

You purchase a new bed and what do you get? BIG PROBLEMS Why, because the care instructions state, to ensure your mattress is cared for properly it must be turned once a week for the first six weeks then once a month, and rotate your mattress top-to-tail. Unless you have a No Turn Matress. These instructions are clear and precise. "Silent night" I think not!! We recently purchased a bed with a Silent night Miracoil 3 mattress. Within a few weeks it started to creak when my husband got out of bed. It then got saggier and saggier on his side and started making horrific creaking and boinging noises if he so much as turned over in the night. I bought a Silentnight bed with Miracoli 3 mattress and after using it or just a few months it started creaking whenever I was getting out during the night. I checked the base of the bed and it was fine after which I discovered the noise was from the mattress. After a few more weeks it started to make a pinging noise every time I turned over no matter what side of the bed I turned over to. Steer clear of a Silentnight mattress. Bad product and bad after sales service. Our Silentnight Miracoil mattress started to sag on the sides after 6 months and it gradually got worse and worse until there was no part of the mattress we could sleep on without being bruised by the sharp metal pieces that had worked their way to the surface. If only I had read the reviews to start with! Please anyone considering purchasing a silent night miracoil 3, DON'T they are a waste of money. We have had ours for 12 month and it is falling apart, not only does it squeak like a mouse, the springs are only held down with the fabric which is on top. We are in constant fear of the springs busting through and securing me to the bed!. I now sleep with my wire cutters and my wife, one to keep me safe and the other to talk too!!! (read more)

The label says "comfort and support for all shapes and sizes" - NOT TRUE, it "supports" in the wrong places and feels like you've slept on a bag of rocks next morning. There is nothing comfortable about it. It's hard (not firm, but really HARD) with all kinds of lumps and bumps cropping up where you wouldn't expect them. I've slept on more comfortable floors. Bought Silentnight matress from reputable shop. Will never buy Silentnight again. After only two years the sides are baggy. Basically, the matress is collaping at the edges. Out of warranty period. I can just hear Silentnight Customer Services responses: abuse of bed, out of warranty, normal for a matress to sag, etc. etc. aaaaargh. I shan't even bother. Never again Silentnight! (read more)

silent night miracoil matress is the worst choice made,in just a short time it takes on the indentation of your body and keeps sinking lower until your left with a huge mound in the center and flat edges even though I only weigh 9st. (read more)

I've just bought this Silent Night Miracoil mattress but am sending it back as it's described as a 'firm' mattress, but this is anything but firm. My and my partner (who are not heavy people) wake up every morning with terrible backache...the bed has so much movement when one of us moves, we both move. Would not recommend if you want a comfy night's sleep. (read more)

the silent night miracoil is a nice looking mattress, but poor service. I'm a normal weight guy and my wife has a similar body index. We look after things and certainly don't mis-treat items. Unfortunately, after less than 5 years the top and bottom surface of this mattress both have worn holes in them and the general surface padding has crushed flat. This exact same thing happened to us. When we complained we were sent a replacement mattress "Ravel" which is supposed to be of superior quality. It also creaks and groans and feels saggy after only 2 weeks!! Utter rubbish.
